Once again, I feel ashamed of my meager knowledge reserve, can someone tell me if there is a professional term for the "mansion" of the protagonist's home? And what building materials are they made of? Thank you so much!
Thank you very much. I can always get help from warm-hearted people. Perhaps a good production team attracts the same good players!Looks kind of like a stucco southwestern US pseudo-Spanish ranch style. I assume similar styles are common in desert & arid regions because they tend to be cooler.
It is mediterranean style, and has its origins, in the occupation of spain, by the Osman empire, materials being usally bricks, you find this kind of architecture, spread in Adalusia, Morroco etc. hence Meditaranean style.Looks kind of like a stucco southwestern US pseudo-Spanish ranch style. Hi, the Osman empire never occupied "Spain", the style of the houses are indeed an inheritance of muslim occupation. It was in the 711 when the muslims started their invasion and their occupation was for so many years and now we can see their architecture mainly in the south of Spain, as you said.It is mediterranean style, and has its origins, in the occupation of spain, by the Osman empire, materials being usally bricks, you find this kind of architecture, spread in Adalusia, Morroco etc. hence Meditaranean style.
Sorry I tipped it out of my head I was refering to "los Moros" in the period before the "reconquista"Osman
After that period, it was brought to the new world, so it is not uncommon to find it over here, exept in Brasil , and in the southwestern part of Northamerica (geographically speaking)So yes, the architecture is from mediterranean countries but in "Spain" was introduced by the muslims since the year 711 until 1492 where The Catholic Kings expulsed the invasors.
looks like a morrocan riadAfter that period, it was brought to the new world, so it is not uncommon to find it over here, exept in Brasil , and in the southwestern part of Northamerica (geographically speaking)
Sorry it was my fault, Spain was ocupied by the Moors, which are from northern Africa.looks like a morrocan riad
He said he is aiming for November to release the updateHas the dev posted anything regarding the update?
The world of Desert Stalker and Zeta in and of itself is quite the multi-cultural society indeedMorrocan riad, the Mediterranean style is strongly influenced by it
Most swords / machete's / knives / daggers in this game are fantasy weapons not based on historical patterns. Can someone please help me learn what kind of weapons are used by each character in this game? What are their names? This is for creative needs, thank you!
Yeah could be that the dev probably isn't well versed on the history at the time the weapons were manufactured in.the way they scaled, held and used unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired. It's probably the one aspect where the attention to detail (or dev's knowledge) is slipping below the usual high quality
That could be, but it also could be: "What does the Daz store have that looks like it could be ancient weaponry?"Yeah could be that the dev probably isn't well versed on the history at the time the weapons were manufactured in.
are those Egyptian-style, though? Look more like Spartan. But I'm no weapons expert. No fucking idea. I just enjoy the story for what it is.
Yeah tbh, for me personally I don't pay the weapons that much attention, I mean its good to know the history and/or lore behind the weaponry and how they came to survive in the post-apocalyptic world of Zeta, but I just shake it off as "Extra Details" and focus on the meat and potatoes of the overarching plot/narrative itself for the most part. But I'm no weapons expert. This pack:That could be, but it also could be: "What does the Daz store have that looks like it could be ancient weaponry?"
Oh we all know what he's packing for sure in terms of "weaponry"superior weapons at his disposal
True. The game is set in the future, so there'd be more modern weapons, as well. Or maybe new blacksmiths that create new styles. But anyway, it's fine. I'm sure that Zaton would have superior weapons at his disposal than ancient Egyptian relics.
huehuehue... someone's got a dirty mindOh we all know what he's packing for sure in terms of "weaponry"
