you're asking the guy who is responsible for half the code (and reviewing all of it) if he is sure about what's in the code?

Okay that's news to me. I don't know who's who here. All I wanted to know info about a missing scene and one person mislead me. How am I getting stick for something that's unintentional

What just made me go into a frenzy after reading that was the extreme scenes like the tying up and fisting were exactly the ones missing. So I had to believe him with that almost believable theory of making it palatable for the steam audience.

Yes that's why One shouldn't start playing the beta and expecting to not have any problems later on.

Not very familiar with the topic, but that seems related to your issue. I suppose you didn't make a backup of security_keys.txt?
Restore that, or revert the read-only or simply delete the file.
You may/will get a new generated key, and get security warnings when trying to load a save. First you'll have to trust the save, then you'll get "do you trust the device the save was created on". When you say yes to that all your saves (that were signed with the same key) will be trusted so you won't be asked again.

Someone here who knows what the 0.17 title tune is? Sounds like a module (tracker music) actually

It's called Chili's Theme in the rpa, but they renamed that from it's original title I reckon.

Talking about music, since the game is also rather music/soundtrack focused, perhaps also taking pride in that, I think it'd be nifty/classy to display the current song top right or something when it starts playing (and fade out again after a couple of secs).

There could be an setting to display it only on it's first play (for that session or for the whole playthrough), but then perhaps be always available to check when pressing Esc.

The soundtrack can do with some track normalization btw; there can be a pretty large difference in volume or loudness between tracks (making me volume juggle). I suppose you could do that in software (a gain table or something), leaving the (possible already lossy) audio files alone.

And what updates those are. In the span of time most games get 2-4 updates (8 updates if you're a crazy hyperactive Frenchman working on Life's Payback) you get one update with a few new scenes and a complete rework of the existing game that invalidates all your old saves...

Because reworks/remasters of unfinished Porn games in the middle of their developement has such a great track record of being the right decision to make and never backfires. Just look around F95!

Jokes aside - I wish Zetan good luck. He has great art and storytelling skills that capture a lot of players and as long as his Patrons are willing to support his frequency of updates the game will be fine. Personally I'll wait for the actual full Steam release and hope that my grandkids will finally get to play the story the way it was meant to be
