No, just realistic about people's reactions on this site. Which I get, I love Ivy too...but the fact she can be killed early on...people should set their expectations that she is not that important in the grand scheme of the story.
If you don't save Ivy, you don't meet the mutants. Are they not important either? At this point nothing is important except MC's family.

I think ivy is almost a story of her own. You can leave them out of the main story, but you'll also miss out on a lot of history of the world. I bet it will limit options in the future with some foreshadowed conflict.

Raiders are the same, but I think they play a lesser role in the history. But you can already see that the overpass mission would go entirely differently without knowing the raiders.

I also think that if you just take the raider or mutant story arcs and make them stand alone stories, they'd be on par with many of the quality AVNs out there. They'd be high quality stories and as much content as many completed games (granted with less time in development).

Hello everyone..I want to ask this; there are two girls at the beginning of the game. I didn't save one of them, the collar blew her head off. The other one was in the mission we went to with Shani. They were slaughtering and eating her when we left. If we don't save these two girls, do we lose the mission part of the game or does the game crash?
You let Ivy die? The lovely elf that is Shani's only contender for beauty and loveability? May you be sodomized by raiders while the Decayed slow roast your genitals!

Here's something different! While I’m still busy with the main quest, I’ve decided to introduce the Temple of the Reverend Mothers into the game.
Remember the priestess from when you showed Kateryna the city? You’ll eventually be able to pay her a visit — but not only her. It’s one of the privileges of being a city-sponsored Desert Stalker. I’m working on creating a simple and quick introduction to the place, as well as a function that allows you to visit it repeatedly. There will be no strings attached: no commitment to a side quest on your part, and no special character requirements — not even Kateryna. Though she might be curious to see the temple herself one day.
I can’t yet say how many Reverend Mothers - or soon-to-be Mothers - you’ll be able to visit in version 0.20, but at least one of them will invite you into her room and dedicate herself once again to the repopulation of the only jewel of the post-apocalyptic desert... one baby at a time.
Render progress:
- Elder's Quest pt.2: 20%
- Temple: 10%
Basement:
- Ain: 65%
Other:
Script writing: 8%
Animations: 15%
(Note: I use percentages as a sort of progress through the scene script itself. The last 5% can take longer than the first 30% - it is not always proportional to the render amount.)

Good question, though.
  1. Desert Stalker, of course.
  2. Basic [the more recent version] and Patch, I assume (and voice, if you want it). I've never used his translations since I don't need them, so I'm only guessing that's what you need.
so what is that desert stalker data.zip?

Since it's 5.5 GB, I assume it's actually the game itself, or even the full game with the mod installed. I have no need for the translation, thus I don't know exactly how it works or whether you should download that data.zip file or not.

I get what you're saying, but at the same time that implies that the entire Mutant and Raider factions and storylines are unimportant since you miss them if you let Ivy and Kyra die.

So yes, it's good to have realistic expectations. But from my perspective, they're optional in that the dev gives readers a noose to hang themselves with, but realizes the vast majority of people will correct that bad decision once they realize their error.

Honestly, I suspect it might be impossible to get a "perfect" ending if you miss those factions once we get to endings.

I would be very surprised....for decisions dating back years all the way back to the very early episodes. Surely?

You can't think in years passed once the game is finished, but in content available. Though it would feel kinda bad because it's quite early in game when you make those decisions. However it's how japanese hentai games work, one early decision railroad you to a bad ending.

Given how much the decisions affect things, it wouldn't surprise me. It feels to me like the Zetan, Mutants, and Raiders are gradually building to a state where they'll have to at least have a temporary mutual alliance or something like that to deal with a larger threat. Missing the Mutant and Raiders story means there's fewer potential allies to draw upon.

I'd be surprised if it railroads a "bad" ending, but perhaps might block a "perfect good" ending.
