We’re 50 animations in, and still nowhere near finished. Up next is a major story segment featuring the Elder’s hideout. Deep underground, the city’s buried history may finally come to light — along with many of the answers you’ve likely been wondering about since the beginning of the game. It's important that I give this part the attention it needs.

There are no rules/canon; you choose who they are to you (in the settings). But yes, considering the circumstances of the game and the specifics of the plot, imo, it seems most logical when Ain and Shani are your daughters, and Zahra is your wife.

They are whatever you want them to be. They could be daughters or protégés, it's entirely your decision. By going to the edit relationship section in the in game menu and setting them up as daughters with the main character as their father and Zahra as their mother, the dialogue will change to an incest.

This is not so surprising, considering that any Queen of Zeta is the living embodiment of a deity/goddess (at least, for ordinary people). Therefore, the existence of statues of the reigning Queen is quite expected. (imo)

Daughters, because there are some lines of dialogue that only make sense if Ain and Shani are blood related. Sure, there are scenes where we meet the "priestesses" and "reverend mother" which the next update will expand upon. The primary POV character has donated to this repository in the past so there may be other "children" of the primary POV character out there. As near as I can tell, children produced in this way become "wards of the state" allowing for any family of means to adopt/slave contract the child.

Now, I honestly don't want to take the time to provide evidence of a line of dialogue's logical/contextual inconsistency. I just ask that people who ask the bio-relation question, sub out any character relationship title when reading lines of dialogue that casually emphasize Ain or Shani's relationship to the primary POV character that is not expressed by them.

Nah, you know what Im talking about and you're still hitting me with that same overused dialogue. I want no forced incest scenes, and I want no implied incest either. Like a different script where Zaton hasnt been grooming his daughter from the start.

So then don't make them your daughters and there won't be incest with Ain and Shani. I don't know what to tell you dude. There are incest themes throughout this VN regardless of how you define those relationships anyway. The waitress in Zeta is pregnant by her father. There is a pregnant mother in the market who was knocked up by her son. You're either going to have to accept that incest is normal in this post-apocalyptic universe or you'll have to accept that Desert Stalker simply isn't a story you can abide.

And if you're suggesting the developer should write an entire alternate script written to suit your preferences, then I can with certainty tell you that's not going to happen. Something like that will have to be a fan rewrite mod. And with the size of this VN, the workload to build and maintain such a mod would be pointless.
