Yeah that title tricked me as well initially. Turns out this is an Isekai story porn game.

That'd be like asking why every game nowadays is female protagonist (which I almost made a thread about, but couldn't bother to).
I think people are straying from the 'norm' and trying what's new or different. Sadly, it's these games that tend to have some really great art.
That said, I think this game does have some good art. Might give it a try. I'll wait to see what others say first though. Don't hate the genre but not really my cup of tea. This game better be damn good before I give it a go.
The game is just missing "In another world where" before it can truly join the light novel kings of titles and NPC games

Wow this game is buggy and full of bullshit mechanics. I hope the creator steps on a lego for every day they spent thinking frustration mechanics = masochist dream game. I'm stuck on 5-5 AFTER beating all the side missions because no matter what equipment I use or what strategy I try these brutality succubus are making it impossible to progress. Brainwash, confusion, curse, silence, AND high agil/def. Then stack that with them hitting you with it all the moment you set foot within ANY of your skills attack range. Just retreat into range? You mean that skill that bounces you right back to where you retreated from in the first place randomly? Avoid them? hahahahahaha even if you stack agility buffs they are placed in choke points that you need to pass to get to the exit. Let's not forget enemies not spawning in half the time when you first spawn in a level, and sometimes just not even registering getting hit. Oh and then you had to put slimes on 5-2 and 5-3 making them even more miserable to try to speed past. WTF DEV.

"If you get within one square of a Brutality Succubus, she will attack in the following order: "Bind" -> "Silence" -> restraining attack.
If you don't shake off the restraining attack quickly, you will be defeated.
For this reason, it is efficient to use your skills from a distance to reduce her HP, and then use your range or closing in skills to finish her off."

If the skills aren't working and you don't mind cheating hit the G key, it's an instant kill button to clear a map. This isn't mentioned in game but is covered in one of the text files.

After beating the game the ending just left me regretting playing this game. For suffering through all that bullshit you get a garbage ending that's literally

Honestly, I'm almost glad to know that someone other then me suffered through to the end of the game, and had just an unpleasant experience as I did. Congratulations, fellow trooper.
Roguelike-like is not a mistake, it's how people used to call roguelites (which now people just call roguelikes, to add to the confusion)
