RPGM Completed Detective Girl of the Steam City [v2.01] [Clymenia/Kagura Games]

So Im stuck. Ive done all of the detective quests, and Im up to slums area D, but the enemies there are way too powerful for me to fight. What do I do next? Its not like I can grind fighting levels anywhere and theres no other quests left to do.

I can think of three ways to go about this:
1. Improve your medicine skills to the max so that you can just keep healing yourself whenever you are on low HP in a fight and beat them that way
2. Upgrade your Steam Knuckler as much as possible and buy armour with the highest HP you can afford (By armour I mean hat, this game really sucks at having a variety of weapons and armour if any at all). Improve your medicine skills to level 2 at least and if you lack detective points, just buy as many potions as you can.
3. If you don't mind giving up your dignity, increase allure and espionage skills to the max. In that way you can just backstab your way through and if you ever get into a fight, just give them your body so you can pass through and can carry on backstabbing other gangsters. If on the other hand you do care about dignity, instead of allure increase your negotiation skills to the max if you have enough detective points.

Personally I used number 1 and it was THE most effective in killing gangsters that were really strong, including the bosses

If I recall, you shouldn't be able to get to the slums if you've truly exhausted the detective story. You might just need to go to bed, some cases are only available after passing time.

My guy, the whole point of the game is to have a tomboy mc, if she had long hair she wouldn't look like a tomboy and it will kind of defeat the main purpose of the game which is to have a tomboy mc. I am afraid there is no option to change her hair

Thank you, thats good to know. Its just my preference, im still gonna enjoy the game, but wouldnt have to find a way to change the hairstyle now that i know i cant.

She does wear long hair wig/extensions when she does the secret sex club investigation with the detective. Its not a permanent look for her, but its some long hair Sofie.

thank you, i actually wonder if i can change the hairstyle when i see that quest, cause like if you can have it here you maybe can have it elsewhere right? now know that i cant i wont be bother by it anymore

The game is complete, Why would the dev need to update a completed game?
If the dev wants to add some more content to the game that's a good thing.
The content update scheduled for feb 14th (valentines day) is a bonus it would be better to think of it as dlc.

No it isn't. Go to the DMM page of this game, the japanese version got an update months ago with new content, scenes, etc. In fact you can search post talking about it in this same thread.
I just hope the "update" that Kagura wants to release it's just the same as the japanese version and not something pointless.
