Yeah, Paapi's (Allan Trumbull) english can be a little hard to understand sometimes but in this case I'd say he's sad it's gone.

I found the existence of this game today and really liked the character models. When I saw it was abandoned I hoped it was the dev not posting updates for some time (which as I'm aware, tags the game as abandoned). Truly depressing to see that dev got harassed like that. Hope they are doing fine now.

There is always trash in the world who has to ruin things for everyone else because they have a low IQ and only care about themselves. If that person had even half brain he would just learn to make his own AVN but no instead he decides to show others what garbage he really is and not smart enough to just make his own.

It sucks because the piece of scum still wins because yes the creator didn't add what the guy wanted but giving up on the game still gives that a-hole a win because either way the AVN is ruined.

The other day, I was talking to someone in discord, and I meant to post a picture of the amount that a pc repair place wanted to fix my graphics card here in Japan. I accidentally chose the wrong photo and posted a selfie that my wife sent me of herself and the kids. I don't think it was up that long, but however long it was, it was enough. I guess he saw his time to shine, and he used that one photo to track down a ton of my personal shit. Social media profiles, old photos, photos of my kids, my old work on twine games, my parents and sister's address. It was a lot of stuff.

Anyway, I don't know much about the guy other than he is a member of Talothral's server. I doubt he has any connection at all to Talothral, other than joining his server. For all I know, he might be harassing him too. I don't know as I don't remember ever having any interaction with Talothral. I also really can't understand how or why he's held onto this grudge for so long. It's way beyond petty, it's psychotic. He hasn't threatened me or my family physically, only to expose us and report this all to my wife's job, which could very well lead to her getting fired.

Either way, this ruined things for me. It's sucked all the fun out of things, especially because I've tried to be kind to everyone I interacted with. Making some fun porn isn't worth the harrassement. Sorry I couldn't finish the game. I doubt I'll hang around the VN space anymore, much less develop something. You can consider this officially abandoned. Once again, I appreciate all your guys who I had positive interactions with, but I can't risk my family's livelihood and wellbeing for a hobby.

Fuck that needle dick harasser piece of shit for threatening to ruin a man's life over some fucking pixels.

Not blaming the dev at all, but this saga made me wonder: could the wife really lose her job over something like this? What’s the guy going to do? send a mail that says, “This employee’s husband makes (completely legal) porn in his spare time”? Would the bosses even read it? I can’t imagine they’d check the game out, even if such a mail did get to them; and if the troll attached pics, you can be sure as hell he’d get intercepted as spam.

This all went down while the dev was moving to SE Asia (I think), so who knows? Even if not it might've just been something they didn't need in their lives, which is fair.

Depends on the country and how public the knowledge would be made etc.... Companies are willing to cut ties with any employee that might cause them bad PR, unless said employee is really high up in the corporate chain. It's pretty standard clause in most employee contracts, that you need to keep your private image as presentable as possible and not cause any reputational harm to the company you work for.
