Cannot an allergic reaction cause a dramatic swell of tissues in matter of minutes ?
As for the grinding ? Don't you love it ? Well it depends of who is grinding I guess ...
Or you were talking about something else, maybe.
So, about that. Ealier in the life of the game there were much less content. So using multiple time some event was something pretty much necessary to not have 3 click until the content ends.
But the goal is to only use events once. But due to the nature of th game it's not an issue to allow repetition.
Also before I got into the project, Jan was limited in term of gameplay so there is also that to keep in mind.
Now, things are a little bit different. We can allow ourselves more liberty in the way we introduce content. But there is still a major limitation : time.
While it also takes time to program, the game is currently working, so unless new mechanics are introduces it doesn't takes that much. But when it comes to content, it needs to be new, and making new stuff is long.
So, yeah, it's kinda hard to not use repetition to pad the game a little, but I wouldn't say it's about taking time in game. as much as padding the game in general.
Also, since already done content is already done, it's staying pretty much in the same state so, the more grindy parts (still mild) are kept until a more in depth changes.
For the 'grinding', it's fine it just for now seems unecessary given the amount of content for each full girl so far. As
@Pattitto00 said it's very light grinding compared to a lot of other games or games like Lessons of Passion flash dating games, and only a minor annoyance for even someone like me who don't like grinding at all.
As for the realism aspect... well I'm guessing you were kidding, but I'll go with it; a blood inflammation of tissue is certainly a lot different than outright permanent enhancements to physical proportions as seen here. With things like CRISPR now being a thing, things like this or Captain America style supersoldiers is rapidly becoming closer to reality to some degree, but even then there are limits, just because new tissue including muscle, fat and skincells just doesn't form overnight. If you genuinely wanted some level of realism, for the physical changes he'd probably have to kidnap them, induce a medical coma (otherwise the physical toll for short term changes would likely be rather bad) and hook them up to intravenous high protein nutrients for at least a couple of weeks. And even then would probably be too fast for the changes seen here. Current hormone therapy and growth inducement drugs tend to take months to properly work, with various forms of success. Good old surgery and implants will just always be better for short term enhancements, and even they usually involve weeks of recovery. But most likely this sort of 'realism' isn't something anyone would want, and would probably also change the tone of the game to some degree.
The mental changes is probably fine as they are here, it's not as substantial as in some other games like The Company, though permanent psychoactive changes via drugs alone are next to impossible unless you want serious possible detrimental effects, so having the effects of te drug wear off after a couple of weeks but make them way more open to conditioning during the period would work better in this aspect. Again, probably too much realism even that to bother.
Just my two cents on it from someone who due to other interests (sci-fi and superheroes, including doing writing of my own) have looked into similar things.
Oh yes, and on other likely more useful content additions, for Chrystal probably at least and maybe other girls also, some manner of virgin event would probably be appreciated by more than me. In addition some more close-ups during sex scenes and nude spreads would be good, as it is now it's kinda tiny in a lot of scenes.
By the way, the sex shop girl, is there supposed to be any more content with her beyond dosing her and then a blowjob then sex scene the next day? Whenever I return to her the sex scene just repeats just as per second visit after dosing.
