Ok 1st for those complaining about the game being broken and unplayable you have no right to complain unless you are a patron for Jan and Finsit 2nd I LOVE BIMBOS!!!

The fact that the update is that big, is the very reason we don't test it, because we cannot test it as thoroughly as needed anyway.
I explained the bug most of you encountered in that post as you see for that bug to be that big and obvious you need to train Frankie. But since it is such minor part of game I didn't tested Frankie to the extent of training him waiting a day then buying something.
Currently Harley's training is bugged right at the start, the reason is simple, I messed up a condition, well two really but the same way.
Considering that I added around 150 conditions this version and each version needed around 6 steps I could mess up. I think my track record is still not that bad for 10 hours of reapeating the same action and checking if everything was done right.
And I use regexp and CLI scripts to speed up the process.
If you think about it, adding the items to buy at the sexshop was at least 2 to 4 time as grindy as you

I don't remember if I have changed the compatibility ID, so old save may not be flagged as incompatible.

And I'll point out to people possessing the sense of humor that we only forgot to warn our patrons about the extremely likely unstable nature of the current version for the 0.40.0, there should now be a notice for the 0.40.1 and 0.40.2. So you could say they also don't have the right to complain (unless they complain about the 0.40.0) as they are warned.
But really at least I know there is bugs. I prefer knowing about them than having a bugged game without knowing it.

Ummm, that's not how it works. Both criticism and praise are tools that potential patrons use to decide whether or not to open their wallets. That input can and should come from anyone who has sampled the game. You can say the Avengers movies were awesome or sucked, even if you watched them at a friend's house instead of the theater.
That is doubly true on a PIRATE site. I know lots of devs put their work here for exposure to more potential donators, but this IS a community built around a free site.

Yeah, I have been putting all the save breaking changes made since early February in a parallel branch. My memory of what I did since then are a little fuzzy.
I don't even know the number of commit for this version, I'm pretty sure it should be more than 200.
Everything in v0.40.1 is pretty much fucked up because almost the entire progression process hinges on buying things at the shop, and almost nothing can be bought right now in that version. It's excruciating, It's like dangling food in front of a starving man but he's unable to get to it because there's a wall between him and the food. Frustration! I have no idea how any of this works, i can barely input console commands, but is there any quick workaround for the 'u/alpha' problem we all keep running into?
Also Finsit I wanted to ask, a few updates ago I had to start over entirely because of some unexplained mishap, and I was never able to get the tattoo-girl (forgot her name), and so couldn't progress with her or with Yuki. Eventually I found a way to do it through console commands but has this been fixed in the new update?

nah, better not. i'm glad that my own changes of the save/load system are still working despite the 'incompatible/invisible stuff'.

Frankly, I cannot remember. Not fixing a bug I know of is unlike me. So the chances it still happen are slim.
Tell me if you still encounter it. But don't mess too much with the console.
Sorry old saves are totally incompatible.

tried it, didn't work, then I went and tried the one where you change frankie's income and don't train him, also didn't work, keep getting errors when trying to make serum or buy stuff, it's unplayable. I know I'm not paying so I won't complain, best of luck with the game.
I'm afraid this is incorrect. I can't not train Frankie because I need her help with paddles for Chrystal so that's not going anywhere. I can't proceed with Yuki because I need chains and cuffs. I can't proceed with Harley because I need a collar and cuffs/chains. I can't buy anything I need to proceed with any of the girls, and I haven't even gotten to the Tattoo-parlor-girl, the Dean (forgot her name too) or Lola yet. Everything you need to buy to go further then first few points of corruption is blocked by errors and glitches.As long as you don't train Frankie it is fine
