Basara never once willingly did anything and was forced to do everything; Arata always ended up in accidental situations only, then just enjoyed the moment, but still never did anything

There is an alternate path at the end of the update where you bang Raynare, instead of letting Rias finish her off. To which extent this will impact future events, I don't know. Technically there is no reason why she would have died in this path, but I don't see the author keeping her alive, so it's probably just there for the H scene and will never be mentioned again.

Bro was literally dealing with PTSD regarding sexual intimacy, did you just not watch the show or read the LNs at all? It was a major plot point.
