the patch was for there to bring back the young kids the code is still there but it won't make any sense if you did use the patch they still sister and mother without that patch in the first place

Well for me it already doesn't make sense because the father is already dead, so they wouldn't be staying with him unless they have a different father than the main character right?

no they moved back in after their father died cause the mother was next to kin

Oh i see so they were at the house. Just not in the scene when the main character falls into a coma like with the patch.
