Devs care more about money than being able to create the game they want and their creative freedom.
Literally anything that passes through Mastercard/Visa is unsafe (which makes sense considering their ties to anti-pornographic propaganda groups/hardcore evangelists). Look at even dlsite now, if a site uses them it's a matter of when not if.

Anyway there's 0 point dooming over this or over-speculating preemtively, what'll happen will happen.

Is there a reason graphics became much lower quality over time? Did the artist change, or did graphics just became not a priority? I mean, compare the first 10 screenshots in the first post of this topic, with the last screenshot. The art was downgraded from "professional" level, to "fan art" level.

Well, "fan art" and "professional art" were the closest explanation I could find. What I meant was that the art at the beginning of the game looks much much more fleshed out. Every scene had depth in emotion, pose, everything. At the end the scenes feel like someone spent 1/5th of time drawing them - faces are flat, bodies are flat, shadows are flat, etc. Here, very similar setting, two pictures:

Art style evolution happens with everyone who draws over an extended period of time. Either way it's subjective and neither looks bad

did the author write anything in discord? and it's already October, but there is still no promised update.
Is it really that important to get more excuses from authors each time the new delay happens?
These kind of situations are so common with Patreon developers so you should be able to understand reasons behind it yourself.

Pretty similar to what happened with the art in Way of Corruption.
In Dilmurs case I actually thought the art was done by two different people it looked so different.

To sum up last month from his latest post till now

He said he was hoping to release on X -Y dates, those dates came and went by and nothing, the Patreon was taken down ... and people took notice and asked him.
Shaso made another post about releasing the update even if the Patreon wasn't resolved

Patreon stuff was resolved the day or the day after he made that post.

After that he and Mesa Fer (the other dude working with him) were very active on the discord for 2 -3 days after the Patreon Incident.

Shaso just went full ghost mode (not showing up on Discord at all)
Mesa still responded to some people after but 3-4 days ago also went ghost mode

This may be ralated to the block of Discord app in Russia (take your own conclusions)

But he has been active on the website 980.jpg

So all we can do is Pray for them to be ok and be back soon and hope all is good
