His games follow such a rigid state-machine design that it's a god damn soul-sucking chore to "play". God have mercy on your soul if you try to actually have fun and do something that is not in the explicit order that the dev intended down to every last little detail. "Oh, you wanted to go to the park and progress the story? Fuck you! Go talk to the shopkeep for absolutely no reason".
I honestly don't know why this is not listed as a visual novel, seeing how constrained you are in actual choices.
The comments here also reflect that: "I'm stuck at X", "How do I progress with Y". What seems like a logical flow to the game is completely undermined by the rigidity of the dev who won't allow for any elbowroom.
