Not sure if it's a bug or error, but I have a save in the start of the Summer Break Blues event, then played until I finished the wednesday Dorms introduction event, closed the game on the thursday afternoon menu but forgot to save, and when I loaded my save and skipped, for some reason, after the Dorms event, it sends me to the wednesday morning screen, when I kinda remember it sending me to the wednesday end of the day screen before. Is it because I skipped and somehow missed a flag?

As far as I know, skipping shouldn't miss cause any missed flags, and I've yet to use any persistent variables in the game, so that shouldn't be a problem either. Could just be a strange renpy issue. If you want, you can send me your save and I'll look into it.
Here it is. Yeah, it's weird, just reloaded the save to see if it still happened, and yep, it still throws you back to the morning after the Dorms introduction event.

It might be just me but this feels like an almost exact clone of Sensei Overnight and Lessons in Love. Different story, true. But a lot of the writing, elements, UI, events tracker, and atmosphere feels exactly the same like it's copying a very specific formula.

Thanks for taking the criticism well, I really do intend for it to be constructive so I hope it wasn't too disappointing a reception. It did feel like a safe bridge but I guess that is still preferable to something poorly-written; I guess I prefer a slower burn to something that ramps up much too quickly.

To be fair to the dev, from what I've played of it, the MC in this one is a lot less of an asshole and a manwhore than Akira or Sensei.
And by "a lot less" I mean he's actually an upstanding guy who's pretty neat and not an asshole at all lol
Frankly that alone sets this apart from a lotta the LiL clones.
Gonna be honest, I never really understood the LiL clones thing. Except for Dissonance and Sensei Overnight, I never really felt the same vibe from the other "clones", and I'm pretty sure that if SO had continued, we'd be talking about SO clones.
That said, both of them gave me more "inspired by" rather than "just clones" vibes.

It mostly comes down to the premise of a lot of them. "Amnesiac teacher starts to have relationships with his entire class of all female students while some strange mysterious shit is going on, all while you discover most of the students' traumas" is a pretty specific genre that HAS had a widespread usage since LiL got big.
That said, maybe using "clones" isn't the right term. That doesn't make the clear inspiration, or at least suspiciously accurate inspiration that a lot of them have taken any less true.
All that said, Dissonance stands out on its own for the reason I listed before (the MC is actually nice) AND that it's more kinetic. It's a slow burn than a lot of them and it seems more interested in telling the story of the MC with the rest of the cast than any other side shit that deviates from that.
I also like that "the other side shit" is slowly starting to creep into the everyday life instead of them being two completely separate plots, as the Niwa decision showed. Wonder if it'll turn out to be an Undertale-esque thing about how you are the one overriding Toru sometimes, or something similar.
No clue why but i keep having the game throw random errors while playing. In the last 10 minutes of playing I have had the game actually crash twice. I have tried downloading the files a couple times both off this site and off Ich as well and each time is will throw errors while playing. I had started playing on linear mode but also tested it on sandbox mode and both gave me random errors. Here is the traceback file from the last time the game crashed on me.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the Konosuba info drop. I was wondering if it would go into Rin being in the light novels more, and it even mentions the spin off! I'm an avid konosuba enjoyer and have read everything so this was nice to see. I've even read em like 3 times lmao, starting from the beginning after you watched the anime is definitely truth. As usual I like the songs in this
