Also, in regards to the sandbox part of the game: I'll make sure it's not something that requires you to have to grind stats for like a whole week in order to see the next character event. Of course, it'll still be there, but I don't want it to be a chore to go through.

I just started to play this game and must say that it reminds me of the game trouble in paradise but even better intro. Even though the concept is the same, the flow is better.

After playing even farther, it's JUST like Trouble in Paradise. it got boring quick and I deleted the game because of it.
Error report: I choose to keep your eyes closed / stay asleep twice in a row at the start, and got the following error:

Nice art, but he inner monologues are pretty barren...i mean, i literally played other games while keeping this one minimized because i got bored on the way.
I also noiced the 0/1 events in umes characer overview. I did everything and spent 5 weeks fast grinding every evening/weekend option and still couldnt get the missing one. Considering the fact i met her 2 times in the prologue i guess either the event didnt unlock, never got triggered or it should be 0/0 for now.

Than dev needs to put in description that sex will be in future editions. When a game gives no hint the true assumption is there will be no sex. There is quite a few games like that here on this site even a couple with harem and no sex.
This is true. Not Japanese myself, but I've seen multiple vids on Japan, and this topic gets brought up in most videos about Japan that's aimed at tourists and expats wanting to live there.
You're basically implying that they either don't make enough money (insulting the employer) or saying that the employee isn't doing their job well enough and need more incentive to do it better. (Also insulting) And no, you're POV doesn't matter, this isn't your culture we're talking about, or it's expectations, it's theirs.
Yeah. You'd think someone who's been here as long as you have might have grasped the basic fact that tags are in as they are IN the game. And most games that have no sex on initial release, DO have it later. And citing a few examples doesn't change the fact the vast majority of the games DO have sex, and damn fast at that. So acting like no sex content on an initial release is foreshadowing none whatsoever is asinine. And especially so saying that NOT blatantly describing what's coming is telling us to assume nothing is.
The only time I assume a game will have no sexual content in it, is when the tags says no sexual content in combination with COMPLETE. And then it, goes straight to my ignore list so it doesn't show up when I do a complete games search.
I just played the game and I'm enjoying it so far. The character's faces are a bit too similar to default koikatsu for my liking but considering that the music, lighting, outfits and other stuff are done really well it definitely something I can overlook. One thing to note is that some of the music tracks don't seem to loop well. Some tracks just abruptly start again. I'd recommend maybe doing a fade in and fade out to make the transition between loops sound more natural.
The sandbox is element is fine because I like to be able to decide who to hang out with first but I'm not personally a fan of the arbitrary stat grinds that consist of me holding the shift key while clicking sometimes to be honest. It's one of the worst elements that lessons of love type games tend to inherit from the game and it's entire point is to waste your time. I don't mind seeing the mini event vaguely describing your visit but after that point I shouldn't be forced to hold shift and click until a scene comes up. That being said I can't tell if there is a stat grind because the character events may have been gated by the story instead but the "bond" levels do seem to imply some sort of stat grind mechanic which isn't great.

The way the rename system is implemented I feel like at some point it might do some sort of psychological horror thing with name changes. Similar to lesson in love marking you with a cheater tag this game might, at some point, compare your current name to the main character's name and then do the spooky based on whether it was changed. Or maybe I'm overthinking this lol.
