Hey, just want to point out that in the omniscient mode, there's still an "end of content" warning at the end of day 20 in the Arianna PoV.

Spoiler on this one for day 50:In omniscient mode, we don't get Arianna's PoV when she visits Lloyd. Is that intentional?

Finally, I'm curious about the "album". All the ones that get directly sent to MC being in there make sense, obviously. But there are some of the ones from the Forums but not others. Is that intentional as well? Like, the first couple creep shots of Adrianna on the beach from the first week are in there, and the creep shot of Gemma in the laundry room is in there, but that's it. Would like to see all of them in there, especially since the Forum apparently got re-worked at some point during development, and that means "old" posts in the various threads are all gone, along with any pictures they had.

Anyways, keep it up. This one is scary good.

I'm loving the game so far, I chose to play in omniscient mode and I'm glad I did otherwise I would have missed most of the character development and internal strugles of the girls. My only complain is the porn forum, I feel there is a dissonance (pun intended) in the fact that the MC is not interested in porn, cheating or even NTRS and seems like a genuine honest guy and not a pervert so why would he check on the forum about those things? There is no narrative justification, it's purely a gameplay device so that the players that choose the mystery mode can have some snippets about what is going on behind their back.

He has exactly two scenes where he conveys his thoughts about the Forum, when he first gets invited and day 45(ish?) When Arianna first has sex with the guy and he posts it

His first thought, "I'm going to be alone for a while, so some 'relief' might be welcome." So he's not anti-porn, but he wouldn't consume it under normal circumstances. Also at this point he doesn't yet know that most of the content is going to be guys pursuing women who are otherwise spoken for (it is also technically not the main idea of the Forum itself, but it "just so happens" to be the major theme at play)

His second thought, "I don't know why I keep looking here, these people are horrible, but I can't stop watching for some reason". He's intrigued for reason's he can't quite understand. We can contemplate any number of reasons that may be, but at this point it's guesswork. MC's inner thoughts are not explored enough in this game to really psychoanalyze him that much. I do kind of wish after seeing various images or videos posted we'd get some of his thoughts.

At the end of the day though, it really is just a gameplay tool to let us, the player, get a view of the action which is ultimately why we are here. Unfortunately there's little that can be done to both make hidden sex available for player consumption and also logically hidden from a PoV character's view completely. Some other games I've seen use dream sequences or memory loss as a device, but those can be pretty heavy-handed solutions.

Situations like this call for a little bit of "suspension of disbelief" on our part. Often times, this genre already requires a healthy dose of it because many times the tropes or framing devices commonly used are unrealistic from the start. So for this game, having the voyeuristic Forum be really the only spot where I feel I need to suspend my disbelief is welcome.

Downloaded it 3 times and V2 as well, still with the same effect.

Any suggestons would be appreciated.

I had no problems with hundreds of other Ren'Py games, including some updates downloaded today.

I've been wanting to answer some of your questions for a while, but I figured I'd wait until things settled down a little so I can reply to everything in one long post instead of bloating the thread with sporadic replies, so here goes and get ready for a long post! Got to like day 38 and while I still like the slow burn and teasing portion(I am playing immersive, since I renamed all the pervs as versions of my name), so I can see what is going on with the hotties. The really odd thing I have noticed is it shows Day 36 Sunday (girl name), then later it will show Day 36 Friday (different girl name). the days are all screwed up since we hit the 30+ days.

Absolutely love this, right now my saves are filled with the "important" events for the different girls, having an easier way to replay them would be super nice.

i love this game so much, especially the forum feature. it's just so fun to read everyone's msges T-T. and it's really interesting how gd, trev, and the rest act so different irl compared to how they are on the forum xD. my guy jeremy is such a good person, and he's about to go through even more than he already has. that's what makes marissa's route even better. knowing she's already in a relationship with him and will slowly fall into corruption... it's gonna be so peak! i'm genuinely hooked on this story and all the characters. great work, dev!

Marissa's fall from grace will be the most "heartbreaking" to watch, as it has become painfully clear she is becoming this whole new person without MC around - a person MC might not mind, but at that point, Marissa will resent him for locking her down.

So far, the game is developing very well. I would have liked to see the point of view during Adrianna's scene as well. Knowing the game's direction and considering the protagonist's personality, I just hope it doesn't fall into the cliché of making him pathetic to further facilitate corruption.

I was afraid this will be case with Bonny, and that guy from work will try this shit, but luckily MC and Marissa talked about Bonny being just friend to clear misunderstandings, and it won't be the case

When it comes to Jeremy, I absolutely don't want to make him an idiot or someone who's pathetic for the sake of progressing the plot. I've portrayed him so far as someone with a backbone and who's not afraid of confrontation, while also being mature and diplomatic. Making it so he's "weak" later on would just contradict what I've written him as so far.

As for Marissa, you're right in realizing that her story is about finding herself OUTSIDE of the MC and her relationship, but resentment is a little heavy. As I said earlier, Marissa's whole story is about finding herself outside of her relationship and Jeremy, so having her cheat due to something he did/she thinks he did, would just undermine her entire arc. It needs to be something she arrives to of her own volition/without any direct or indirect influence from him.

I didn't mean she would resent him any time soon, but that - when the time comes - Marissa will choose her independence over Jeremy, and part of the reason for that will be feeling a little bit of resentment towards MC for being content with her essentially acting as "his caged bird" (I hope my metaphor makes sense).

On the note of cheating... I sincerely hope that Marissa's first foray into infidelity is with Flora - not the guy friend (he can come later). It would be superb if she not only cheated for the first time, but also with another woman (a true showcase of just how much she has been 'liberated', so to speak). Also, Adrianna x Marissa is going to break me - but I need it like Spongebob needs water.
