Okay, so I'm a little more encouraged by some of these reactions now. The dregs have come and gone (shitcanned me or whatnot), and now I can see that there's at least some minor interest/appreciation for the unique approach I'm after w/this. I hope to pay off your patience there, eh.
-Without elaborating TOO much on the "writing" critiques, or my butchering of the English language...
In the past, my Writing skills have been an area I'm often praised for. Here however, I do not disagree. That may have happened due to my brain being split into so many unfamiliar places (and therefore stratagem) while carving things out. So the fluidity there; the rhythm of the evolving exposition and wordsmithing, suffered some. I’ll likely do another pass at that once I’m able to step back from the rest and focus on that aspect more intently.
At this point I’m encouraged enough by several plot points I’ve mapped out ahead (while leaving things somewhat open-ended), and having now pocketed the demands and limitations involved in this sorta storytelling, I would guess I’ll find a groove and meld all that in more favorably going forward.
Or... I've just fuckin lost my mind, eh. Which is entirely possible of course.
