You are right, my mistake. I looked at his patreon and saw that the comments said they were from two weeks ago, so I should have calculated it instead of looking at that.
I urge anyone who's being so needlessly belligerent over the delays and lack of updates to actually become a patron and join the Discord. Dekarous is there all the time and has given numerous updates on 7.5's progress. It will be here tomorrow.

What are you two Eli _uwu and LoveHurts bitchin abouuutt this time??? How was that a frustrated comment? Im not even teasing you two, this time im legit curious... what was in that comment to be soooo overly sensitive about? He is taking his time to respond Eli, and being very polite but just disagreeing with her comment... so if someone doesn't agree with you two its reason to bring the drama on play victim and call him out as a troll? oooh come on get laid you guys..
You guys should be thanking Thatoneguyyyyyyy for bringing out that patreon information and not being compliant with the delays instead of calling him a troll for absolutely no reason... Especially since in life those are the kind of people who fight for ours and YOUR rights while some stand idle... or make things harder...

With regards to your first point, I completely agree - it's a shame when a dev gets sidetracked a lot by gameplay/combat improvements to the detriment of advancing the plot/making new art, and given that I've heard earlier in this thread that version 8.0 might require a full restart and won't support previous saves anymore, it's also a major inconvenience. (especially as it's not the first time when the old saves were rendered obsolete for this game...) Fighting droves of undead just to level up also added plenty of extra grind to the way the game works, and I truly hope dek will not end up abandoning the project cause it got out of hand or handing out short (in terms of gameplay time/story) delayed updates for years until he completes it!
That said, there could be many reasons he focused on revamping the gameplay and combat mechanics the way he did - it could be he had writer's block and decided to focus on other ways to improve the game (as the class system, all the weapons, skills and perks do make it a more polished and better experience gameplaywise) for example, and if that is the case he may return to more frequent plot-driven updates eventually! I know as of late he's mostly just promised updates and not delvered, but here's to hoping at least! Obviously you could also be right and he might've gotten bogged down in too many perks, skills, systems and buffs he has to think about for the future dominas as opposed to the plot or the various post-enslavement scenes for the existing Dominas, but by this point I'm mostly hoping that's not the case or that he managed to sort most things out during this long break.
Domina is a good game and I echo your sentiment that it would be terrible for this to go the way of "Under the Witch" and over-complicate itself to desruction, (which is possible) but I still have hope in dek eventually picking himself up and finishing this game! (maybe it's a misguided hope because I'm not his supporter/haven't checked his patreon too often, but he should see people are mad about his delays and perhaps that'll have a positive effect)
It's also nice to hear Salia Coel did that - I haven't checked Femdom University in a while so I should probably take a look at the latest updates! (really hoping for new Skullgirls content) As I said, thanks a lot for the nuanced answer and let's hope your worst predictions won't come to pass!
ooooh maaaan for sure I do hope domina never gets abandoned... even if dek becomes despicable dekoda for real and I come to hate him I would still love the game haha but I still have hopes the dek just got a bit side tracked and all that (its pretty fucked up whats going on at this point but im trying to keep positive)

I honestly cannot understand how or why they took it their way, and it ain't the first or second time shit like thats happened... I guess some people just have that need of feeling like they're being hurt... I mean what else can you expect from someone who thinks that even love hurts...

It is fine, I probably should have just used a reply without the emote. The comment you made wasn't stupid since it was a genuine and possible suggestion, but I knew that it was not likely. I would only expect something like that (vacation for a reason) from horrible people and I don't think Dek is like that. Sadly we can only come up with random reasons unless Dek gives a proper explanation.
Have you suggested playing the game together to her ? Tell us the results if you do

New update for those not in the Discord: Dekarous is doing some last minute tweaking on the presentation of a gameplay mechanic, but in doing so likely won't be able to get the entire early access version of 7.5 out today. Instead he will be releasing a truncated version of 7.5 that spans up until the end of Narcissa's realm today, followed by the full early access a day or two later. Saves will most likely carry over between both versions. Update should be out in around an hour and a half as of the time I'm writing this post.
