4 months ? The twins were released the 26th of january, yes he did an overhaul patch since then but the last fresh content was 11 months ago

Damn... missing those days when we'd get an update and be playing it for hours... The last great one I can think of was Rosita's And even tho im not a big fan of the chubby/mommy domme thing, it was still really enjoyable to play.
Then Frankie was a complete disappointment (dont get me wrong I love her character is great and got so much potential to be explored but barely any content)
The twins was alright... but then after so much time I had high expectations for Raa and this is what we get...

Hoping the final release for her will come bulky but what are the odds hun =p

Domina has really gone downhill since Rosita, which didn't even have content liked by everyone. Franziska had and still has the least content. The twins also have very little content and the content they do have is very lack luster. The new pharaoh once again has little content and even has content that doesn't even make sense to add (the decide the fate of loved ones system when you lose). One of the biggest issues with the two dominas before was that they had basically no content when you submit to them (one of them literally doesn't even let you submit) or even before you do, yet another glaring issue I have noticed is the combat. Unlike all the dominas before these three (four if you consider the twins separately), they do not have any combat attacks that really relate much to a porn game. Franziska mainly had attacks that she would hit you with a hammer or inject a poison into you, while the twins had simple punch, kick, claw, and magic attacks. The only slightly good attack was the grabs like the twins had, but even then it wasn't very good. Raa has no grabs (that I ran into) and only has punch, kick, and magic attacks. What happened to the unique H interactions inside of combat that actually made them fun to return to. There was a lot of complaints that the combat took too long making it hard to grind, yet that was why the lost were introduced. It feels like the game is trying to focus more on the H scene aspect, but the problem is that there aren't enough of these to make up for the lack of content and replayabillity elsewhere.
I know that the developer is someone that is lazy and doesn't like to actually put in effort to make Domina into the game it should have been, but why does he think that this is okay? The least he could have done was fix the issues currently still there, and yet instead he just blames everything on the CGs not being finished. It takes more effort to remove content than to add it sometimes, so the fact that there are so many places where the game says to wait until the full release instead of there being even a placeholder just makes no sense. Besides, it took less time for game releases before when there was more content, so how is it that it takes longer for things like CGs when supposedly the artist was hired for the game so that the priority would be the game. Everything leads to the conclusion that this game will end up the same as ToT, and that is just a shame.

This is exactly why despite how good his new game sounds on paper, I am not hyped. He's basically turning into a less quality version of the that duo

i dont think Narcissa has empathy ... but for some reason she is somewaht cute.
she is one of the most dangerus one for the worl since her land wuld be a nightmare of death and desies.
But she is also very ... human? Imean she seams genualy disapointed when you decide to leave her and even cals herself your girlfreand when you do stay (I havent played it in a wheile so maybe it changed with the updates).
Also the faces she makes are quite adorebale.
I think she does have empathy but not for humanity as a whole. Plus, the dominas are known to be very catty toward one another. I also imagine that champions aren't exactly the most friendly people for a lonely girl to talk to given why they are there and that they are trying to "Save the world". From how the Dominas talk, it seems that MC is a lot more friendly then his predecessors have been. Narcissa seems to really crave affection even going as far as to say she wishes Rosita would adopt her:

I agree they should be skippable (and avoidable), but I feel they are too few.
Honestly I like this kind of games just for that, everything else are things you may try in RL without consequences, but extreme and gory stuff are something you better don't.

Also, from Dekarous, I would expect more gore/castration stuff, which is like the "main thing" of SCC (his first game). I'm sad we don't have them in Domina, except for a small part that doesn't even concern the MC.
I'm pretty sure there is an MC castration scene with the Maki if you give her the rose.

As far as the gore goes, I would still like it to be avoidable for those of us with virgin eyes.

Well to be fair Deka's mom passed from Covid last summer and one of his artists caught it a month or two ago. Additionally, it appears that Deka is a beginner dev who underestimated the complexity of some of the coding decisions he has made. While both Domina and ToT have been plagued with delays it is important to remember that only one of these games has become a delay fest by choice.

Reached Franziska for the first time, and while I'm not particularly bothered by the content itself too much, I gotta say. The writing certainly seems to have taken a sharp dip here, going way harder than before on informing the player how exactly the MC feels about everything, and arbitrarily ignoring personality tags to boot. Guy can somehow go from pulling four plague levers purely for a giggle, openly laughing at a man losing his soul, and more... right to being absolutely devastated and furious about the fates some randos he knew for approximately ten minutes. Even begging for their lives. Including right after being extremely callous mere seconds prior. Yeah that all checks out.

Apparently, nobody in the 174 pages has said it, so I will - isn't the spell Shadowbind utterly broken/OP/imba? It gives 5 turns of invulnerability (with a typo), all for 100 mana. Doesn't it trivialise the entire game? All fights become a mana check. I'm playing Arcanist.

By the way, what's the difference between the Arcanist and the Channeler?

Yes, Shadowbound, Vengeance, Magicka Obscura and Pandemic Claws are all dumb broken abilities which make the game a cakewalk. These four abilities will literally carry you with ease.

Pretty sure it has been mentioned before (and many times), since you could actually be immortal with the combo shadowbind, surrender and a spell that restores mana. Although i'm not sure if that's still working, game development has slowed so much that I kinda forgot it still existed. IIRC battles were quite easy once you get a few class levels.

in 8.0 do 7.5.1 saves not carry over? will be REAL sad if i have to start all over... again
asking because the normal method of moving save files around yielded me no results

I thought Maki was going to make MC's thingy pop off. When she gave me the second prompt to back out I did because I didn't want to see MC's balls removed. And yes, Frankesca would be perfect for a CBT scene with MC. If she did, I would like to see her place him in a strength tester with her slamming the lever with that giant mallet of hers. After making the metal thing hit his balls like a bell (But making them fly off) She could catch them and claim them as her prize.

Now to be fair, MC being callous depends on the choices the player chooses. I have been a good boy and would never do such horrible things outside of savescumming to see the content behind those choices. I am still saddened by the M*ry submission path. That said, if the player does go the genocide route, I can see some of the future dialogue not making sense.
