Yup. ANLIS has very slow development, but is a very solid game. Good variety of fetishes with more to come and a massive attention to details.The overworld feels alive contrary to a lot of RPGM games. Definitely worth a check for the demo.

domina had its time in the sun and arguably once deserved that top 5 or 10 spot, but that was years back. people may debate at what point the game started going downhill, but only few here deny that it did.
the first few/half/whatever dominas were good and the general atmosphere of the game was nice, but eventually dekarous decided to take seriously wrong turns. from there starts a long list of shitty things, but apart from various insults that woud be fair to be thrown his way, the quality started dropping more and more, while gamebreaking bugs became even more common.
now we have 2023, the game has further declined, the last couple dominas are just a shitshow, the atmosphere was ruined thanks to that stupid soul shard rework, and dekarous has proven time and time again that he doesn't give a damn.
i once was a bit of a domina fan myself, but as far as i'm concerned it's pretty much dead at this point. sure, dekarous makes the corpse twitch from time to time, but just to allow him to milk his audience further, and dragging the overall quality even further down in the process.

Deka is bad at RPGMaker, is relatively bad at writing and clearly is lazy to actually bother to bugfix stuff (Lots of people give shit to Teary for Katalist being buggy, but there’s a whole world of differences between the content of Domina and the content of Katalist and Teary at least attempts to fix as much as possible with as little delay as possible. Deka just did his first actual bugfix update with a lot if bugs which were in the game prior to 6.0, that’s over two years ago…

If Deka would pull his head from his own ass, Domina could one day be back to the glory days of 3.0.

well, i almost want to make a big sweep, compare dekarous to a certain pair of devs that are unwise to invoke and just as moraly questionable (but at least release quality content), or how teary coud avoid a lot of flak infuriatingly easy, or be puzzled as to why dekarous still makes a lot more money compared to some of the more talented devs around, but that woud probably just get deleted anyway (woudn't be the first time).
as for Domina... i honestly doubt that dekarous will bring up the dedication and work to seriously fix up and polish his game. i woud hope that i'm wrong, and i'll stick around out of curiousity on how this will end, but my hope that things turn for the better has long perished.

I really like Narcissa conceptually, a mistress that is dangerous to your health, instead of a conventional beating, merely sexual acts with her will damage you, be it via acidity, disease, etc. And with her bratty, almost dismissive attitude... It's hard to explain isn't it?

We get to see similar things in Succubi, but it's not quite the same imo, too magical.

It's a shame Domina is very basic, I would love to see this concept be explored in another game, where submitting to her could have severe consequences.

ToT, Katalist, FemU Zero, Monster Girl Dreams and Shrift are all games I consider to be a good cut above Domina, then you have stuff like ANLIS and Gladia which far surpass Domina in quality but lack content, so I guess it could be argued.

Domina is not really dogshit, I'd consider it more mid tier, similar to League of Domination imo, but that's chugging along better. Not particularly the biggest coomer on here so I don't have that many examples.

I kinda feel the same. Not to hate on FemU Zero, but it's not my type of game either. I just feel like it's heavily overhyped. It's not a bad game, it's playable... And that's about it for me. Good on people to like it a whole lot. At least Salia is active around her fanbase and is actively working on the game. Not my type of game, but big respect towards the creator.

I'm not trolling. If you really think Domina is "la crème de la crème", then you absolutely need to revaluate your taste in Femdom games. Domina was pretty damn good early on, still not the best. But Deka's laziness and constant plagiarism, lies and obvious Patreon milking made Domina quickly go to shit and suffer from being a game that once was good, to very outdated and lost its shine to similar games. I can name also a few things that makes Domina a subpar game.

- The world is empty. You have the main hub (The Cerulean fields) with the Grim Reaper that has pretty much nothing to say. Then you have the Dominas realms, which they also don't have much to say themselves. There's no life at all in the environment. Everything feels so empty.

- The enemies are the ever-so-attactive zambies. I can count on about 53 hands how many times I jacked off to them. That is, only if all the fingers are lowered. They pretty much disrupt the flow of the game and they don't do anything of value.

- The fighting is bad. Reaaaally bad. It's textbook spaghetti code. Lots of things do random number of damage. Sometimes it does like 100, sometimes 10000, all that without crit or anything. The battle system is just a mess. But hey, you can just use Shadowbound and Soul Link and get your free win. Immersive gameplay!

- Stolen arts, stolen poses, plagiarism galore. Lots of scenes are traced. Btw, may I remind people that Madeleine is a fucking Pokémon fanart.

- Bugs galore. From mild to literally game breaking. The game has no polish whatsoever. Some bugs took up to 2 years to be fixed and they're not hard fixes to do. The reason why they weren't fixed was just pure laziness.

- Subpar CGs. Some are pretty good, but it definitely went downhill near the latest Dominas. But we shall all hail glory the Hora's butthole wrinkle that spreads all over her cheeks.

- Horrible writing for sex scenes. The toilet scenes are some of the biggest offenders. Dekarous is bad at writing scripts, it shows. But holy fuck did he loves the term "Sewer pipe throat". Oh, also no Domina has a unique personality, because they all say the same stuff. They'll all basically call themselves "Mommy" and call you "Puppy" and some other names. None of them has a unique personality through casual dialogues... Well, maybe apart of Narcissa which might honestly be the saving grace of this game in general.

- Bad ideas and bad implementations (v7.5 and onwards)

- All the dominas share most of the same fetishes. Very rarely do they have unique fetishes. I compiled the whole thing at some point and it is astounding how much repeat there is of pretty much everything.

- Horrendous storytelling: It went from "Ok, it's not good but fine" to "Follow the red light" to "Lol, you're the Grim Reaper" and other wacky nonsense real quick. Whole lot of jibbi-jabber that was a panic button in order to retcon whatever Deka was writing while probably being drunk or some shit.

- V.8 and V.9 exist.

- Deka's sad attempt at hype: From MHC's fiasco to hyping hard how Llavanya got a massive look overhaul (Lol, almost no change), there's so many things he bullshitted his way through. Like how he pretended to now have a studio for "Team Dekarous" to hold meeting and work on the games faster. Spoiler alert: Still took another year between V8 to V9 and he's not a big shot indie studio. He's just a dude making a bit of money on Patreon while making a porn game on RPGMaker. I don't know how gullible does he thinks his supporters are.

- Which leads me to Shakie Chan's new artstyle. Not great. Some things look better, but a whole lot look so much worse. Like the eyes that she did ever since Raa and MHC are all so weird to look at.

I'm only scratching the surface, btw. I could go on and on.

- Combat laziness: No more grapple ever since Raa. Francizka also didn't had any grapple moves, but that's just Deka trying to save money to avoid paying for more CGs. So now the fights against Dominas is just punches and kicks. Fun.

- Obsolete in style: No animation whatsoever to help stand out from other similar games. The closest of an animation is... Narcissa's buttplug transformation to which she does the little dance, which is literally one picture being flipped a couple times? Everything else is bland and static.

They probably haven't made it past Katrina or something. Thinking Domina is the best femdom game while being very adamant that it's better than any other games mentioned is pretty crazy. I can get preferring one game over others, to each their own. But asking for better games, being provided better games and then "curating" said selection only to say "No. Not those, I refuse to consider them better because [...]" is either being in denial or a massive troll. And you would be right. I was once a Patreon. I had high hopes for the game and wanted it to succeed. I played it before Katalist because at first I couldn't get over Katalist's artstyle. I thought Domina was great and one of the best femdom games out there. I even submitted bug reports to Dekarous through Patreon. His reply: "Thank you for reaching out to Team Dekarous and notifying us about these bugs. we are currently aware and they will be fixed ASAP". Bugs were not fixed. Still aren't. No reply since, btw.

I would love for Domina to regain its shine, I would love for the game to be the game I once fell in love for. But that all depends on Dekarous. Whether he picks himself up, show up to work or eventually step down and lets someone who cares do the job for him. Domina has the fanbase to support such a project. But the fanbase is dwindling as the quality does too.

Grapples are annoying to me. One of the reasons why I don’t play tower of trample anymore.
