If he's using AI for translation, then the dialogue is still his and nothing to do with AI. AI isn't going to suddenly create rhetorical questions when it's only used for translation.

Nice characters, but the cheesy rich kid vs poor kid is not very entertaining, his dad is an asshole we get it but really the rich kid wants to be a life guard???

overall good game with decent update, BUT man, the rich twerp's asshole dad is just so lame, like man is literally poking his nose in a childish quarrel and claims to add a mental test and whatnot when the guy himself is unstable and came for his baby boy otherwise posing as a man like, shouldn't as businessman AND as a politician he should avoid this kinda drama and be mature cuz everyone saw MC save that guy and beach during the start of the game and many are eyewitness to it, like for politician to jump in things which is completely unnecessary and can raise suspicions as to why he's acting like a stuck-up teenage like his kid.
also his bone structure of a kid wants to be a lifeguard? like seriously? what kind of idiot goes for a lifeguard when your dad just owns most of the beach? that is so odd.

I agree, rex is fine(ish) but the heavy involvement of his dad is just over the top, and rich influential guys like him simply doesnt care about fucking lifeguard positions. It would even more reasonable for him to work against rex becoming a lifeguard (as its dumb with his perspective).
Even worse when Rex is a bad lifeguard (like someone dies and its rex fault) which potentially could bring really bad publicity for him even more if it gets known that he pushed him into the team.
The dad just has too much comic-book villain vibes.
Not really if you suck as a lifeguard and not really more than being the rich bitch who owns everything

Depends on the prompt used, AI can be given more or less latitude when working with an input.
But maybe I'm wrong and these are strict translations. That would just mean the original dialogue coincidentally sounds like what an AI would write, which is still not great.

I can see Rex as a rich kid trying to get validation through the lifeguard job, how he gets friends and girls because he's a hero and not just because of daddy's money (all without any real effort, of course).
I can also see his dad wanting him to be a lifeguard because it looks good if he wants him to be in politics (similar to being in the military, just easier/less risky).
What I can't see is why his dad would be interested in the tryouts / keeping the MC out. As Rex is already part of the team, there is no need to intervene here. I would rather expect him to try and keep his son out of trouble. Probably try to bribe the MC or use his influence to make sure they don't end up on the same part of the beach.
