For everyone who got issues with cinema event. Try use cinema from day 2.

It still does NOT work!! Have tried on many different days!
(First using the G-Drive download from the Patreon page, and then trying the MEGA download, Neither Works)

Where are the Save files for this game?
Have tried to delete then but the old saves are still there!

can somebody point me out where the save files of Double Perception is located in the internal memory of the PC (Windows)?

I heard you have to remove completely all save and pesistent files both in the game subfolders and in the internal memory so that no errors would occur during the cinema scenes in the latest update.
can anyone verify this? or has the cinema issue been resolved?
would really love some pointers here

Found my saves (Hidden?) here,
C:\Users\*****\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\ELDVN-1584297023

Had to check the date and time of the saves to tie it to DP.
don't know why it's called "ELDVN"

Hi ,
I was having trouble with the cinema event,
I had read in a previous post that you need to do a Clean (delete old saves) restart.
I tracked down and deleted my old saves, Deleted the game, Reinstalled the game (G-Drive download from patreon)
and... NOPE still can't do the cinema event on ANY evening/night, kept crashing when you ask Alice (?) what film are for tonight.

So far, results of test-runs i've done on currant Cinema Issues:

Few things can, or will brake the game early on.
Suffice to say, old saves do not play friendly with current update.
As well as use of in-game cheat(other cheats can do this as well).

Playing as intended without any cheat or altered stats, does NOT always result with cinema success unfortunately.
The one Cinema successful run i experienced, focused mainly(not exclusively) earning money on the annoying construction site.
Note: Change of key-input from J Y B C to a group of keys may result better experiences for players.
Please see PC examples(english standerd).

With going to the cinema, the error problem can be fixed using the old save.Start a new game with the previous version, talk to the girls (it's better when they erase) raise at least the first two stats by 3, save and download already in version 2.0. I have a movie just like that without mistakes. Why washing?It's just that the rest of the first scenes after the transfer will not be displayed in the gallery if you go too far.

Seems like a lot of people are getting errors when getting to the cinema. I guess I'll wait an update or two because the game is interesting.

Hi!

Tried for the first time this game today
Enjoyed most of the content but:

- Cinema gets error. Wether if I am invting someone or just asking what the movies are
- when using VR for the first time I was exploring menu / place and I accidentaly went "home" before it became a quest (shows up after you visit the magician) so now I think I am stuck since I can't progress any further.
