I'm a dev who is very active in his player community and I generally remember the names of all the kind folks who play my game and come here offering constructive feedback and who want to have honest conversations about the game, good and bad.

I also have a keen memory of the names of those who come in periodically and just bitch and whine and don't contribute anything constructive or useful. When there's a prior history (such as this case), I have a zero tolerance for bullshit and quickly make my position known.

I can take honest, negative feedback. But when it's just griping and whining, I open fire for my own personal amusement.

Keeps me sane.

You know, I do feel obligated to say, the list of people who just come in and piss and moan without offering anything productive is quite small. Less than ten all said and done.

Most of the people who come in here and post up, even the ones that don't like the game, generally offer up some good insight and feedback.

I don't want anyone new to the thread thinking they'll get lit up if they say something bad about my game. I know it's not perfect. And there is always room for improvement.

And I don't differentiate between patrons and pirates. Pirate players have contributed some very good ideas that have made the game better since it's inception. So trust that if you post here and have something honest to say about the game, by all means. Please share, I'd love to hear it.

But if you just want to kick me in the balls and accuse me of milking patrons or complain that I don't work hard or fast enough to provide you with free entertainment, well then...we know how that plays out.

I gotta tell ya man, you're a real fucking prick! nah nah nah. just kidding. Honestly, you are one of my very favorite people and developers on this forum. In fact I like you better than most devs I have ever supported. Which leaves me thinking to myself...what the hell have I been doing???? You will be getting my support and that's FINAL!!!! Oh October please, please, please, be kinder to my wallet than these damned previous months have been, because I really need to get behind this guy.

2019-09-05 News

So two of the four scenes needed for this next release are done and available for $10+ patrons to play test and bug report. At the halfway point, I'm feeling good about the progress made these last two weeks.

Fortunately, the next scene is a bit of dialogue, so no real challenges or complications there, the next is an erotic scene with Nanami, and then we get to move on.

Been looking at some new tools to increase render quality and broaden the availability of assets at our disposal. Experimentation with that should begin in the next few days as I have minutes to kill here and there. No major leaps in technology, just opening new avenues of customization for the games assets. (Learning stuff like ZBrush and Marvellous Designer)

In the meantime, as I wait for Nanami's renders to jam out, I've been scouting ahead towards assets and such for the next leg of the game. As previously announced, once I complete v1.0.7b, I'll start work on v1.0.8 which will be all new Cassie and Emily content.

So enjoy one of the test renders from this week's workload as I look forward towards completing the next chapter.

Once this next release is done I'll have some new polls regarding game features (not content) for patrons as well as some new options for people to make their mark on the game. But I've sworn off doing any of that until v1.0.7b is complete. So....yeah, I gotta get back to work.

I understand that everyone's in their own situation, so I never bust balls for lack of support (unless you're a cheeky gimp that wants to crack the whip at me while not offering up anything). Ahem, I digress.

Seriously though, that means a lot. And I don't care if people give $1 or $10. It all adds up and every cent is helpful. So far the only real complaints about my game are the lack of content and the sketchy update cycles. Two things which I'm working very hard to rectify.

And now that I'm flying solo, consistency in releases is now entirely in my hands and I'm doing my best to be a lot better about that.

But on the upside, I love this game, I love these characters, I love my story, and hell, I love the community that has gathered around to talk about it from time to time here and on discord. As long as there are people enthusiastic about hearing my story, I'll remain enthusiastic about telling it.
