Thanks for pointing this out. We'll look into it. Probably another flag that didn't get shut off.@RomanHume Seems like there is a bug in here, when you turn down Jane she storms out of the room, but it still continues as if you didn't reject her.

Yep, sorry about that. Missed a jump sequence. Fixed! Thanks again for bringing it to our attention.@RomanHume Seems like there is a bug in here, when you turn down Jane she storms out of the room, but it still continues as if you didn't reject her.
No problem, I didn't plan to go that way anyway. I mean what guy in his right mind would deny her?Yep, sorry about that. Missed a jump sequence. Fixed! Thanks again for bringing it to our attention.
Thank you for the kinds words. Our philosophy is this, every player, paying or not, has the potential to become a paying player. So it just makes sense to treat everyone as a paying player.I just want to commend you for exhibiting such a positive example here that other game devs will hopefully take to heart. Yes the majority of users on this site may not be currently paying supporters, but when you see a developer interact as you have, you encourage more to become paying patrons or at least try to earn their keep via helping QA test the project and help it become better. It's been great to see how this project has developed so far and I feel like the way you have engaged with the forum to explain your intentions for the direction of the game, continuous updates of progress and new builds appearing at a fast clip just as you had promised... well I really just wish more game devs followed your model. Cheers to you and the rest of your team, keep up the great work!
We discovered reading other forums that there is the occasional odd man out that wants to play the monogamous lover. So giving an option to shut down a romance was simple enough and it gives a subset of players something they want.No problem, I didn't plan to go that way anyway. That is Awesome! Thank you for this. If a moderator wants to add this to the OP we're perfectly fine with that.Transparent text (and name) box for this game attached to this post.
It replaces default text box and name box with completely transparent ones and to make text still readable, adds outline to all text in the game and changes font color in these boxes to white.
Extract into the game root folder (where the game exe is), overwrite original png-files, in case you extracted them before (using unren.bat or some other tool)
I just thought that maybe there are some other guys beside me who don't like the default half-transparent text box and prefer a transparent one instead of tapping on the H-key all the time.
To restore original textbox, just delete textbox.png and namebox.png from the game\gui subfolder and outline.rpy and outline.rpyc from the game subfolder.
Sure, I'm all for being monogamous in real life unless everyone involved is ok with screwing around, but this is a game and I don't play games for being close to reality x'DWe discovered reading other forums that there is the occasional odd man out that wants to play the monogamous lover. But I'm like you, WHY WOULD I DO THAT? =D
I agree on all the points you've made here! Cheers!Sure, I'm all for being monogamous in real life unless everyone involved is ok with screwing around, but this is a game and I don't play games for being close to reality x'D
Other than that this game has quite a few pretty models, it would be a shame to let your work go to waste.
They were relatively simple fixes. Single variable type problems that only required a line or two of code to fix. Nothing major. We have patrons that paid for these updates, so we owe it to them to be Johnny on the spot with the repairs. But ultimately everyone benefits.Man, you guys are really fast.
You're (and other 553 people right now) my man(woman)This thing is extremely well-written so far. But I'm hoping I won't have to start over from scratch with every update. Right now there's not enough content for that too be too much of a pain, but the longer the game gets, the worse more cumberson it will be.
No, you should not have to start over from scratch with each release. We are saving any major API changes for the beta because we've all been there. Nothing worse than playing a game for months and then one day the dev comes out and says "You'll need to start over because some changes aren't compatible." Of course those changes make the game better, but it's a pain in the ass all the same. This thing is extremely well-written so far. I truly apologize but I'm not sure I understand your suggestion.Change the engine... IMO. Little changes in concept, and story cotinuation...
