Guys no patch needed exactly, as RomanHume mentioned, simply edit the "cassie_h.txt" file in game/cast directory.
Apart from some minor storyline errors at the begining, it works. The end scenes are worth it, trust me.

Here's a copy of the file I edited, place it in game/cast directory, remove any preceeding numbers before "cassie_h.txt" when saving the file.

I read the posts before I asked. I cannot work with .txt files thus need the patch. But ty anyway.

Edit also that method still leaves neighbor in places according to some posts

Not just reference to neighbor, also things such as :

'"Your...um...Emily tells me the girls are staying over tonight?"'

and Cassie using Emily's name instead of Mom

i believe this is a mistake whit this screenshot off the game

check the table the plate and empty wineglass
its sunk in the table cloth
and also the cassie file that whas made only opens as a text file not as a actuall file

From your perspective is it too fast to be believable or just fast?

When writing it I found it difficult to sometimes determine where the edge of belief was and I'd be curious to know your thoughts.

I mean its not a dealbreaker or anything, not too hard to mentally replace that word with something else, just didn't know if that was working as intended for both Patreon and SubscribeStar versions. Loving the update and looking forward to Lupita (and maybe Amanda soon after?) update next.

Open the journal (top right of screen)
Contacts -> Cassie
On her photo - click to change
select Change Last Name
Save Changes
