So here's the problem. With every release we tell our patrons to visit this forum. We encourage them to participate here and join the community. When we tell them to come here and they find the bonus material they are entitled to on here for free, it makes us look like assholes. We've gotten four emails about this since this post went up. It's unfortunately really.
So now, as a result of people signing up as twenty dollar patrons, downloading our content and then cancelling their patronage so they can throw the link up in our face, we have to waste precious development time recoding how our bonus content is enabled. It's dumb that we have to do this. I mean, we knew people had enabled the console and enabled the content, but what we couldn't see didn't make us look like chuckle fucks in front of our patrons.
So let's be clear, it's not about the money, it's about us not looking like a bunch of apathetic dicks in front of our patrons. We have to at least demonstrate that we are trying to protect the material they are paying for. So thanks for the extra work. I'd rather we had spent the up coming week working on our story.
x'D Glad we could help enhance the English language.Normally I get quite irate at the bad grammar/spelling in a lot of these games but, for some unknown reason, that typo in the new version "eventutally" I think is just soooooo cute! Can we get in touch with Websters and make that the official spelling?
We spend absolutely zero time proofreading because we know we are going to be doing a lot of rewriting during the beta. That will be when we actually pass the story through a proofing process.
Our tentative plan is to have a multifaceted ending that incorporates results from the different paths taken. Then we tie everything up with several suggestions from the Doctor on how to proceed with your life, and you choose among several post story options dictated by your choices.
This is the general idea at the moment.
We share in your pain. Our last upload, for six variants of the software for two OS's took about seven hours. We'd like to get that back down to two.
Unfortunately we won't be moving to version 1.0 until we hit beta. So we have a ways to go. We're using a semantic versioning system. For more info on our alpha, we have shared some details@RomanHume , since the game is nearing version 1.0 I think it's time you step up by changing the default renpy exe icon with the DAST game icon or IANVS to push developer brand forward. On to other matters of concern, that was a happy ending.

.It's funny you bring up the icon though. We've started working on a couple of small tweaks for the next release and throwing up the DA icon was one of the easy ones we hit on.

.....probably should have read this before responding to the previous comment. Sorry for the redundancy.
The plan is for the choices to have a cumulative effect. So this early on we haven't created too much contrast. But as the story progresses and you rack up more of a love or lust trait with a character, the plot will diverge along two separate paths. Hopefully this contrast will be starker as the story progresses.

I dunno if we are there yet. Didn't play since first release. Liked the start/story/renders. Just keeping my eyes on change logs and thread till i think i can spend some good few hours on it with everything being fresh
