This is one of the unfinished few games I still remember and lament over from time to time. So many things were just so good. The soundtrack selection, character writing, etc. Still one of the few VN writers who could really build up that tension between characters and really deliver a home run in the culminating scene.
It really was kind of a golden age a few years ago. Now it's just:
- "AI-NTR-Phone game #325"
- dinosaurs that passed the threshold of not having to worry about money ever again who take longer and longer to release an update that's ultimately disappointing
- possibly promising titles that just completely sputter out within a matter of months
There are still some good titles diligently chugging along but they're few and far between. Of those few, there are some true gems. The rest just feel like they're always lacking in some aspect that you can more or less ignore but in the back of your mind, you know it's the reason you ultimately lose interest in playing it. Then there are some that you come across sometimes and think, "Oh ... yea. Good on you, man. Still hanging in there, I see."
