I'll be the first to admit that we need to get better about providing a change log. What happens is that by the time we update the code, the renders, write a blog post each week, create the custom renders owed to higher tier patrons and update the walkthrough, we're just too tired to do the change log on top. But that's on us and we really need to just suck it up and make it happen. I think it would go a long way....assuming people actually read it.I'll say this: the confusion around this release shows something I see a lot of people getting wrong: communicating succinctly. Scores of game developers write a page about how their new game has custom art developed by a Brazilian painter for the posters in their office, how their open-world gameplay revolves around the rich world of Fantasyville that they've retreated to since they were 9, and how their license for RPGmaker Pro 9 Evolve lets them create engaging and state-of-the-art gameplay that's up to the brim with analytics so they have a great feel for how many white suburban moms killed the first seven rats - but - what players actually read is "4 maps, sequel to an earlier game, shoot-em-up, 70% thumbs up, updated last year".
@RomanHume does communication better than 95% of developers here, and not just by virtue of doing it in the first place, but they communicate in 5 different channels, so messages are bound to get lost (where's your Facebook page, anyway?). That's why I believe naming is useful, and not just for games, but releases as well - it lets you convey implicit unavoidable information.
As for facebook...meh. Right now I don't even have the time in the month to update our actual webpage. Between responding to forums and updating our patreon page, there just isn't enough time in a month.
There is an official walkthrough for patrons of $10+. I won't be surprised if in a few more months someone puts together an unofficial walkthrough. Is there any walkthrough for this game?
There is, and in it we walk you through how the mechanics of the game work, provide more details on the individual lover's drives and desires, explain how the pregnancy system works if you are interested in brute forcing it, and then it goes scene by scene and explains the mathematical outcome of each dialogue choice so you can keep track of how many "Gentleman" or "Rake" points you've racked up with each character so you can predict or steer the course of the game.Probably not for the current version since it's so short. Maybe later, as the story develops.
If there is one, I hope they follow the style of 'Dating my Daughter' and just list the effects/outcomes of each choice, rather than deciding for you.
There never was a daughter! No Daughter! That would violate our patreon T's & C's. BUT, he does talk about how his neighbor's daughter stays over at his house a lot because her parents are out of town on business. The content with the daughter was removed at some point, correct? If so, is there a code or a patch to restore it? Asking for a friend.
Now, whether or not he's lying about his relationship to this young girl to his therapist.....I mean, who knows. People are shady.
All jokes aside, if you want to play the alpha up to the point where we dropped it, you can click on our webpage and go to downloads. We've left that version up there for those who want. Cheers!
Which we hope will happen very soon. Lord knows we've been busting our asses on it.No. You can play the old version which I believe you can download from Patreon, or wait until the new version gets caught up to the old version.
Salute mate!
