If you are interested in playing alpha v0.9.0, just click on our homepage link in my signature and go to downloads. We're leaving that version up there until the beta catches up to where that one left off.

Cheers mate and thanks for playing!
Thanks. Already found it, downloaded and played it. I assume when the beta catches up with it that 0.9.0 saves will probably not work but nice to have an idea of what to look forward to. Nanami route is already different and the rout with the SVP is better. Not sure what to think about the "blue" and "pink" options (paths) though in the beta version. Deleted the beta for the time being since I will need to start from the beginning anyway. Both are great though.

Edit: Also great job of letting us know when we've reached the end of a version/path with both v 0.9.0 and beta, much appreciated. Hope you keep that up going forward.

The color coding was actually done in direct response to player feedback. Many people playing the alpha wanted to know ahead of time which choice lead to the "good guy" route and which choice led the "bad boy" route. Even though either route is perfectly viable and neither will lead to any kind of game over. The choices simply flavor the way the story unfolds and impacts how your relationship with a character will develop. The differences are more noticeable in the beta because early players frequently requested more contrast between the two paths.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts though! We make it a point to keep up with the forums we're on and take player responses into consideration. We may not run with every idea, but we've definitely cherry picked some good ones.

Salute mate!

The real test will come when players try to mix them up by choosing blue for on choice and pink for another to maybe get a "Jekyll and Hyde" result. See if we can really mess with Roger's mind. That would be very interesting to do. Maybe we could even freak the game out enough for it to rebel with an "exception" just to give you more work. lol

That, my friend, is called play-testing.

The choices you make in the game will steer you down one track or another. However, there are junction points where if during a previous leg of the journey the nature of your answers dramatically shifted, you could find yourself on a different track for the next leg of the trip and so forth. So at no point are you truly locked onto a particular path, unless of course you pass a point in the story where it is mathematically impossible for your choices to sway you back the other way. This won't likely happen until closer to the end of the game, but by then your fate could be sealed anyway.

It's as much an experiment as it is a concept for story flow. We're anxious to see how this is going to play out and discover just how complicated this thing is going to get.

We have toyed around with the idea of having a few secret detours along the way that are contingent on a specific series of choices. We would of course be fair and detail this in a spoilers section at the end of the walkthrough for people who don't want to hunt for it on their own.

We've tried to make this a little easier. Now a character's menu will only appear when there is story available. So the character menu will only display what is currently available. When you have played through all of the options, no choices appear and you get an end of version screen.

When you download the new release and merge it with your old file, you can just click past the end of version screen and it will take you back to the menu and display any new character stories available.

We figured given the format of the game, players need some kind of indication when they've experience all of the currently available content.

Cheers mate!

It's finally here and all I can say is that I am genuinely sorry for the delay.
What Happened?!
I don't want to get personal, but when someone tells me "It's almost ready." I believe them.
Then a week goes by, and I get told, "It's just about done, a few more renders and we're good to go." I give them the benefit of the doubt.
When week three comes and goes and I'm told "Nope, just a few visuals and I'm finished." That is when I start asking the hard questions.
And then when I find out that only half the work is actually done, I flip my shit and take over.
It took many late nights these last couple of weeks, but myself and Fecal busted our asses to close that gap, and now we have.

What was Delivered?
For $5 Patrons we've published the immediate version. We anticipate as people play through it a bug or two may appear here or there, but we'll get those fixed and next week we'll throw the links up for all $1 Patrons.
Four weeks from now, we'll publish the public version which by that point should be void of typos, bugs and errors.
This release contains the "remastered" pool scene as well as the first encounter with your wife, Emily. Both sequences have been extended and rendered using all of our new tools and techniques.
The dialogue is expanded and choices a bit more complex, both of which should lead to a richer story beyond here.
The release lacked a few key things that we hoped to have, like animations, but we'll come back and fill those in at a later date. We simply couldn't push this out another couple of weeks while we built four or five animations to round out the sex scenes. We have to get back on track, simple and sweet.

What's Next?
Next we will work on the Monica and Lupita introductions which should bring us 50% of the way to where we left off. However, we're going to temporarily break from the monthly updates and switch back to the micro-updates that everyone loves and hates.
So look for Monica's release to come in about two weeks or so, and then immediately after that we'll post Lupita's. Sometime during that period we'll host a poll to see which character patrons and players would like us to focus on developing first.
We need to get back on our development schedule fast! So look for the next few updates to come much quicker than this one.

Housekeeping
Another immediate task will be updating the walkthrough and getting that posted in the next 24 hours. After that we'll get the next poll up and try to ease back into the regular flow of things. Teasers, desktops and all that.
So stick around. We lost velocity there for a moment but we're rounding the next star and hope to slingshot back up to cruising speed rather quickly.

As always...

We at Ianvs Salute You!

You've gone a released a v1.0 that isn't complete..... There are going to be some very angry, highly intellectual, professional (honest) game designers along shortly to tell you how much of a poor developer you are.

At least some Jane again.
I mean I like the game and I followed its progress since the first post but am I a dick for not getting excited about updates that don't involve her ?
