So if you check out the walkthrough, you'll see that each character has two attributes. Each one is tied to Blue and Red choices. Think of blue as the more "gentlemanly/nice guy approach" while the red is more "rakish / opportunist".

There will be points along the way where you can "switch tracks" so you aren't completely locked in to one path or another. So even if you are on one path, blue or red, there will be chances to switch over.

Thank you for that. I really hate having to restart because of a few bad choices I made early on. While it's not so bad with VN's where you can use skip to speed through, it's still annoying. Also, I've already encountered a few scenes where the
'bad boy' response just seems more appropriate to the situation even though I generally prefer the romantic, gentlemanly approach.

Also, before you write too many sex scenes you should check out how Novel handles them in Twists of My Life. In addition to the beautiful, sexy renders, you get descriptive text hot enough to almost work as erotica all on it's own. Also, if you're a fan of Final Fantasy VIII.

The one big suggestion I have would be to explain the personality spectrum for each of them at the beginning of the game, or maybe in a help/character menu. Eventually, a meter, or graph of some kind would be nice, so we can see how well we are progressing, but I understand that is not tops in your list of priorities. XD

We have the personality spectrum laid out in the official walkthrough, but now that you mention it, having it in the game would be beneficial. I love the idea of having it metered/graphed in the game, but I'll be straight up and say that our Renpy skills aren't there yet. We still have a lot of learning to do when it comes to UI design. Sometimes the shit we'd easily do in python doesn't always play out as we'd expect in renpy. So there is certainly more education to acquire there.​

I think we've gotten all of the errors fixed it's just that no one has bothered to download the corrected version and put it in the OP. We'll update it ourselves once that version becomes public, assuming a newer one hasn't already replaced it.

As for the typos we have-a-many. That's mostly me trying to type as fast as my brain. Other times, it's because we're doing a test render and the screen refresh is laggy. We have had a couple of kind individuals proof read what we've done. We are hoping to go through and scrub those corrections before the next update. But I'll note these and add them to the list if they aren't already.

I am dyslexic, so I haven't read the entire thread, but I skimmed it enough to see that, and between that and what else I have seen you post around here, you have my respect.

No worries, as I said, just something to work toward, and it would go a long way toward making the game look that much more professional and complete. The main reason though, is it would make the intro feel more comfortable, and less confusing without the need of a walkthrough. Hell, you would almost completely eliminate the need for one (some will still want it, but hey). ​

Right on, and again, no worries, I kind of figured you have them but hey, I saw others pointing a few out, and since I only noticed a few I thought I would do my part as an editor. Honestly, I noticed very few mistakes as it was, and that's pretty impressive. So many of these I just have to cringe at the writing.
I know what you mean about trying to type fast, I earn my speed typing badge trying to converse between attacks in MMOs, where typos didn't matter, only speed. XD If you need a hand proofing something or whatever, just give me a yell, I am dyslexic, so more than a bit slow, but I do what I can. :winkytongue:

I really like this idea, too. Knowing that both types of responses can lead to a relationship would be good to know. Often times with games like these, you have to find the right approach for each character, or you get nowhere.

The game and the screenshots looks really interesting. But, I have a doubt regarding the content of the game so far. The change log says that in 1.0 all the previous contents have been removed till 0.9.
Does this mean 1.0.1 has only contents of 2 releases and does not have much content?

Yes they restarted the game, it now looks much better than the screenshots provided.

If you're bothered by the content then I would keep an eye out for it in a few months time (they're currently operating at a bit under an update every month or so including the one on the patreon that isn't on here yet).

Alternatively the old version of the game is worth checking out and on their website.

Yes, the v1.x.x content is currently behind where we left the alpha build. But we are working quickly to catch up and those scenes that have been included, are much larger and have many, many more dialogue options than the alpha build.

We wanted to include a solid variety of ages, breasts sizes and races. We were personally tired of all the giant tittied small waisted women in these games (not that it's bad, just overdone). So we opted for more "real" looking girls.

Sorry for the recent lack of communication. We are located in Florida and the recent hurricane displaced some friends of ours in the pan handle who came to live with us for a couple of weeks. Been a mad house, but things are cleared out here and we can get back on track. I'm cashing in some vacation time and I'm going to take the whole week to work on the game. Should be fun! I love the direction you are taking this game and just wanted to maybe throw a suggestion in for down the road. The MC is seeing the therapist because he's going down the wrong road so maybe you could at some point interject his mother into the conversation i.e. she visits him and attempts to straighten him out but it backfires and he ends up seducing her. Like I said, it's just a suggestion.

Belated Weekly Update 2018-10-29
Good morning all!
So yeah, hurricanes suck. As Florida residents it's a thing we just have to deal with. And while this last monster that hit our shores missed where we are, it didn't miss some of our friends in the panhandle. During that ordeal they came to stay with us for a bit and so for the last week and a half we've had eight humans jammed into this 1,000 square foot house.

Everyone finally cleared out over the weekend and things are finally getting back to normal. To celebrate, I'm taking the week off of work and I'm spending it working on the game. This will be a chance to play catch up, get everything on track and hopefully pull ahead a bit.

We're working on Jane's next couple of updates simultaneously and we have a lot in store for that.

We were also a week late unlocking the latest update for all patrons. For that we apologize but we've remedied it. We'll get the walkthrough updated and posted and have some teaser renders of Jane ready in the next day or so.

Considering we only have about 10 to 15 hours a week to put in on this project, having a 40 hour work week at my disposal should yield some serious progress.

As always, thank you for your support and we'll send out some more info ASAP!
