I can't ask this question without raising alarm or getting hopes up. But with a desire to do neither, I'm curious where the forum stands on transgender sex scenes.

It's a great idea imo, there is far too little of this kinda content of any quality. From what i've seen, there is a pretty big market for transgender content and similar diverse things. But like other have said, it's a touchy subject, so expect backlash and some hate. No matter if it's completely optional. Someone gonna be mad (or afraid) about it's existence in the game regardless. I've seen it many times in multiple threads on this forum. Just like crusade wars about NTR. By the way, i'm also interested if we can actually prevent Emily cheating on us later by not acting like an asshole now and actively romantically pursuing her.

About update, i liked the scene. Some cool new options with ability to actually reject her, and good animations quality. I do very much enjoy Monica, her great body and direct personality. Sharice is quite beautiful too, hopefully we will see her again sometime.

Potential is there, Cassie is in my opinion money in the bank. She reminds me of the daughter in "Teachers Pets" which is a good thing. I'm not so sure about the "kill switch", I don't know how the story with Cassie should work without Emily. I also don't think, that you should split up the trio of Amanda, Jane, and Cassie.

I do like this one and would support you on Patreon, however, five USD is too much on the rich side for me. So I will wait and see where this one is going.

Don't think she's gonna be in leading female role. More like a side spin off side story if even that (can be just playing "diary" or "dev" role). She's very different from the others after all, since she's "new" and actually "here". Unlike other girls and events, which is past. The title makes perfect sense, but it doesn't mean her involvement to the story and Mr. Harrington. Also remember, that there is gonna be more parts of this series, and more patients. So yeah, could be franchise name like @Bagger288 said.

It's a touchy subject, and I wouldn't touch it. From what I understand, even transgender people don't want transgendered content (they consider themselves re-gendered, or something like that) - but it would be a convenient cage-rattler not unlike a stripper with kids. I might check it out if time ever permits. I'm so backlogged on game recommendations and the trans thing isn't really even my thing. But I'm a feet in the fire kind of guy. I like a challenge, and I think writing a trans scene would be a huge challenge. I'll either do it spectacularly well or fail miserably. The upside is that the only people who would see are those who enjoy that particular fetish and they can give me the most honest feed back on the quality of my work. Everyone else will sail right past that harbor and not even know it is there.

A priority is that the game feel seamless no matter what options are active. So if you have NTR on, Trans off, and pregnancy on, your playthrough should feel just as complete as the guy who turns them all on or the guy who turns them all off.

We never want a play through to feel like you're "missing" scenes because you turned off a particular fetish. That is why we are compartmentalizing everything in 'alternate' scenes. So that you still get the story drive content and a sexual encounter, but it will be one that jives with your kink preferences.

I know it sounds ambitious, but from a writing and coding perspective, it's really not. We're talking about fifty alternative lines of dialogue and maybe twenty additional renders and an animation or two. It's not a tall order.

So I'm playing for the first time and reading the walkthrough. I'm at the Nanami 02A (Roger’s Office) part and all the submissive answers and dominating answers seem switched. Does the answers mean I'm making HER more submissive with the submission answers, or I'm making ME more submissive? I'd normally assume it's me, but the responses are telling me otherwise.

The way the choices are designed, if you are selecting the Blue options, she will dominate you. If you choose the red options, she will submit to you. Hope this helps.

With the diversity of the collective membership of this site, there is no doubt you can find a market for that type of content. But I would advise against trying to be all inclusive in a single game. If you want to create a game featuring transgender content then go ahead and make it a significant part of the story. But just adding it as an inconsequential option to broaden the appeal of the game will probably have the opposite affect.

If you add it, then there needs to be a tag advising potential players of it's presence in the game. Now, I've followed this since your first release and read your intention for it to be totally optional so I'm not going to stop following this game even though I'm surely giving it a pass when in game. But what about players looking for something new that haven't followed this game all along? A large number will just see the tag mentioning transgender content and move along to something else.

We want our game to be like an ice cream bar. We're offering up pure vanilla to everyone who wants it. It's delicious ice cream that we think a lot of people will enjoy. But for those who want to add a few toppings to enhance the flavor, we have this options bar over here for you.

It started with the pregnancy thing. Someone mentioned it, we thought it was a great idea that could include a lot of drama in the story. But many people simply didn't want it. So we thought, ok, we'll make choices in the game that let you avoid it, but then players were like, I don't want to use a condom or pull out. Then it was like, well fuck it, you can turn it off and if you turn it off you can just experience the story we originally envisioned and we think that is still a great story.

From a writing and coding perspective, adding this level of inclusion to a game that is structured the way ours is, is a simple thing. Since we now have the ability to modify the OP we can include the appropriate tags and also advise potential players of which kinks can be turned on or off or avoided entirely. (Some kinks like foot fetish and anal stuff can be avoided by just not selecting those options during sex scenes, no need for additional options).

And because I'm such a fucking optimist, I believe that when we pull this off and people see just how seamless the transitions are, the community will help convince others that our game is worth playing even with a trans tag in the title. Because at the end of the day, I'm not into trans stuff and I'll have said option turned off on my play through. But I love a challenge, and I always want to push the limits to see where my strengths finally fail.

Playing from a save asked me if I wanted to enable NTR, didn't ask me last time I played from this save.

EDIT: Just to clarify before someone thinks I'm complaining, I'm not. I'm glad it's there so everyone can enjoy the game.

One thing we hate is when a dev makes changes to a game and old saves don't work.

So if you start a brand new game right now, you'll get these options at the beginning before the game starts. If you have an already existing save, then we've written a snippet of code to take you back and let you set those options mid-game so that you don't have to start over from the beginning.

As we expand the game, expect more of these options to pop up from time to time. But know that if you started a brand new game, you would get all these choices in the very beginning and your experience would be uninterrupted from there.

We also failed to set a flag during the pool scene. So when Jane's next update comes out, you'll get a quick options to tell the game what happened and the error will be corrected. New players won't have this problem as the flag has been fixed.

We promised old saves will always work, and we mean it!

So now the game has NTR as well? Urgh! Hopefully I am not missing like half of the game while NTR is switched of. I love the game especially because of the characters and the story, but NTR even switched off can destroy games for me. But I will see how it will develop.

You will be missing none of the game by turning NTR off. For scenes that could potentially contain NTR there will be two versions. One with the content and one without. Wow, it's like whoever wrote that was trying in the most succinct way possible to explain that turning off NTR or maybe even Trans content will not reduce the amount of game you get to play. To me it feels like he wanted people to understand there is no need for alarm, that their personal version of the game will remain unaffected when they choose not to participate in certain kinks.

In all seriousness, thanks for sharing that up here. I struggled with how to deliver that message without getting too wordy (That was the best I could do).

We have a friend who does promo work for strip clubs in our area. We were talking with her one night and she said, wouldn't it be funny if.....and here we are.

The items are offered all in good fun and it was something we could do without taking away our from our development time because our good friend handles all the acquisition and shipping. She takes a cut off the top and we get a little patronage bump.

Basically she pings us with some questions about the character's personalities and then goes shopping for related items and perfumes. Once she's told us what she's got, we do some quick Daz magic and recreate the item digitally to put on our models.

It's fun, funny and sexy all at the same time.

Well for what it's worth, here's my vote for 'please don't'. There is plenty of futa around (I feel for the vanilla girl-on-girl fans out there) and for someone who is in no way into that sort of thing, I'd prefer to not have it added. If it's merely a one or two scene story that can be skipped it won't bother me in game of course, but still I'd prefer that time and energy spent on something else.

The plan is to do you one better than that. The trans content would be a modified version of the scene you'd see normally if the content was turned off. So you won't be missing any story or be denied a sexy scene just because you've chosen not to engage in a particular fetish. We think it's a win-win.

That's an interesting idea. Are the items "close enough", or is Gemmex manufacturing them to spec or providing models that they have product for? Either way, I can see it both working and failing miserably, so I hope there's some follow-up.

Basically our girl goes shopping for stuff she thinks fits the personality of a character, then we mock up a Daz version of it to put on the character. She buys the stuff in small quantities and can always sell what she doesn't move to the girls at the strip clubs she does promo work for. So at the end of the day we have nothing invested in it and it doesn't cost us any development time.

It's just a fun little side gig that was proposed to us and we thought it was amusing enough to participate in. If no one ever contributes enough to achieve those rewards, we are out nothing but a little bit of Daz modeling time we'd have spent making clothes anyway.

Some people here really act as if NTR will let their dick rot, just because it is optional in a game.

I hate NTR, but there are enough games with NTR in it, that offer perfectly safe routes for playing without touching that shit.

I kinda like this reworked version of the game more than the previous, the game feels more polished overall.

With the exception of Emily and Nanami, character introductions don't include sex. It wouldn't make sense at the outset of the story. But for what it's worth, there are sex scenes for Emily, Namami, and there will be one for Jane in our next update about to drop in the next 48 hours or so.

Having just gone from 1.0.1 to 1.0.3 and playing as a good husband, not trying to perv on your own daughter and her teenage friends or cheat in general, I was rather surprised at the lack of content. With the previous chapter you had some very nice interactions with the characters even when you didn't try to rail them, in fact helping them with their problems. Now I fully understand that you can't develop every path at the same time. I was just wondering if that's gonna stay like that in the future, having to decide between being a decent person and content or you're just gonna fill that route later and if so, can you give an estimate on when.

I admit I found that rather strange. I mean, to each his or her own, but the premise of the game is sort of the opposite of that path, just feels weird to me.

OTOH, I know several people who only ever go for one girl in every game.
Personally, I want to get as many as possible (if I like them, that is) and to bliss me out, I want a harem ending with everybody happy to share my MC.

BTW, if you manage to really churn out more content updates now, I really don't have any more reason not to divert some of my meagre patreon funds to your game.

Well spank my ass and call me Nixon (AROO!), even though it's in the fucking title of the game it completely dropped from my mind that she is a SEXUAL therapist. I always though of her as just a regular therapist.

As for the other girls, this is quite the shocker, even reading over their descriptions in the walkthrough again right now, it is not at all obvious to me that we would eventually end up having sex with them (on the blue path). I though we would just help them grow out of their respective shells.

I like your enthusiasm for adding in alternate content and trying to cater to other fetishes. However at some point I think you need to look at your project's scope and ask if something like this fits and is worth the development time that would be assigned to it. At the end of the day this is Dr. Amana Sexual Therapist, not Roger The Good Family Man.

I will say though that after playing this version, it's starting to look good. I wasn't a big fan of the decision to rework the game, but the story and events feel more connected and I think it will be an overall better experience in the end. Keep up the good work.

Well, there will have to be something going on for him to go to a therapist, but there are many ways to spin it, from cringy lectures to voyeurism to it was all a dream to no-contact BDSM to spicing things up with the wife. It really depends on what you want to be the fixed points in the story.
I'm thinking of an approach where Roger had relegated sexuality to the side and is suddenly overwhelmed by it in both himself and those around him, but he has lines he can't cross because they're so integral to his old worldview. That still leaves plenty of room for lines he has never drawn.

For Roger to see a therapist even on good husband route? Easy.. He's under TREMENDOUS STRESS, the marriage is fraying at the seams, and he's got all this time and easy temptation surrounding him. Of course, he's gonna have thoughts of "She's HOT. Let's bang, baby." His desire to avoid acting on those thoughts is what would send him to a therapist because he's afraid he'll act out and lose his marriage.
On the flip side of the coin, he could be really, really lewd and acting out on it. And he's seeing the therapist to discuss the aftermath of his actions. Whether that is good or bad, we won't know until the end of the game.
