How do you open the Character_object.rpy file cause i ran unren and tried but that it does not open just brings up a tool to find a program

This has been reported and will be fixed, either via a patch or in the next version. (I think it will be in a coming patch.)

hey guys,
i slept over it one night and decided to post the new version of the patch.The reason is that it doesn´t matter if i make change the original script files twice either way i have to change the original files again.About the patch itself: like i say it earlyer you must overwrite 3 original script files because the patch methode what i use now need to know when this scene/label comes so i must wrote there the jump command.For the changed Journal you must start a new game.I have no idea why but i can´t fix that.Sorry.And now the import think in my opinion.I must/will update the patch again but only the original script files when the bug fix will be released.So it should be fast to change that.But here is my problem.I must from tommorow until friday go to work and i´m home around 5:30 - 6 pm german time.But i will something eat and releaxe for a few minutes before i will update the patch again after the work.A thanks for fried_ to found the missing text lines. There remains only to say have fun with the patch

Hi RomanHume , while testing gigan 's new patch I encountered lingering instances of hard-coded "Rog" and "Roger" for the MC's name within the latest version of your game - two sample screens are attached to provide context.
Additionally, there is a repeatable exception being hit during a flow involving Jane - it can be Ignore'd to continue, but I've attached screenshots of the last screen before it happens and the exception display itself.
Also, would sending you a list of (what appear as) typos be something of interest or is that cleanup something you already have on your plate, perhaps?

Thanks for flagging this. I'll get it corrected as part of the bug fix.
I've been getting a lot of instances popping up where the name is still hard coded. It may take few passes to fix them all, but we'll get it there.
It's been a rough year with a lot of change. A big part of this update was me inheriting the code and taking ownership of it. Making some of these changes was a good opportunity for me to dig in and see what all is happening behind the scenes and familiarize myself with the way the game had previously been set up. With the exception of one or two additional features I'm looking to add, all work going forward should be dedicated to new material.
For once, I get to release the game, and immediately start work on the next character's chapter without any other side work that needs done. So that's a start in the right direction.
Try as I might, I have been unsuccessful at replicating this bug. Has anyone else here run into this issue?
Thanks for pointing those out. I re-scrubbed that file and came across several instances. Hopefully that's all of them. The corrections will be included in the bug patch.
Never let it be said you don't know how to belabor a point! All jokes aside, the development of this game up to this point has been haunted by constant change. In our first year we suffered a graphics card meltdown. In the subsequent year we lost the whole team leaving myself alone these last couple of months to work on the game alone.
Those who've been around the forum here will tell you that I've often myself lamented how many primary love interests we have and how long it's now going to take to get through them. But through patron discussions and talks here, it's unfair to cut cast at this point simply because each of the seven models has a bit of a fan base.
In any case, I remain dedicated to completing this game no matter how long it takes. I'll keep doing the most I can in the time I can. I'm only a part time developer with a few precious hours in the evening to work on the project. I'll make the most of that time, but at the end of the day, I can't promise a faster development time than I can deliver. I know it sucks, but it is what it is.

For what it's worth, I am trying to figure out a schedule to systematically work on multiple girls at once, but I have to work out the balance of it all.I have this exact problem/fear with many games that already have kinda slow progress and yet keep introducing new girls with each update. Not going to name specific games, but as you said many of them have the plan of having each update focusing on a specific girl so for picky people like me the wait can become incredibly long.
Some developers even have some high patreon tiers that let people get their own designed girl into the game and personally i don't like that. And yeah i know this sounds kinda entitled or selfish but i cant be the only one who feels this way, sorry for the rant.

At this time you can't. I have ready and nearly implemented a system where you can change Roger's skin tone. Unfortunately, the cock and balls asset I'm using kept throwing an error when I'd try to get it to match the skin tone. And while it's funny seeing African American Roger with a Caucasian nut sack, it kind of breaks the immersion you know.
Fixing it was turning into a time drain so I had to shelf that idea for a later date.
Very sorry it wasn't as satisfying as previous installments. Hopefully in due time the introduced plot elements will make more sense and feel more integrated. We're still just scratching the surface and things will get a lot deeper from here.
For what it's worth, a lot of the enhancements were a good opportunity for me to spend much needed time with the game's code that I inherited from my predecessor. All the time I spent under the hood of this thing will go a long way in helping me keep things clean going forward.

Originally the game featured a branching story that would arc in one of two directions depending on your choices. It was a lot of work to maintain and I was never crazy about it but the team thought it was cleaner. Now that I'm doing this thing start to finish I opted for the approach you see in Nanami Chapter 2, where all players experience pretty much the same story, but with differences interlaced throughout.

Delete your current folder and extract into a fresh folder.
Old saves won't work anyway, so you'll have to start from scratch.
I wasn't able to replicate this exception. If you can offer any additional information I'll be happy to track the bug down.
Has anyone else here experienced any issues with the music or sound? This hasn't come up till now so I'm curious if there is a problem with the music I should be aware of.
So there are two scenes where there is a series of purple choices. Once in the bar talking to the detective, and another in the elevator with Lita or Lola. Did anyone experience this problem in the elevator? I'm trying to determine if the problem is with Renpy's Set Object or something more specific to that scene.
Never. I don't even play the game. I just arbitrarily throw shit into .rpy files and hope they work. My philosophy is that bug testing is for pussies and clowns. Real men write code and throw it into the wild. It's survival of the fittest, and if my code can't survive, it deserves to die in the cold. Frozen and alone with an empty stomach and frost bite on its testicles. It's how you raise children! it's how you make porn games! Anything less is a government funded hand out!

I did notice a couple (maybe three) of instances of the crackling sound, mainly in the new Nanami scene, and I think in the Lola/Lita scene, but it just seemed like a slight blowout from volume/frequency. Nothing major, just a bit of crackling.
Then I'll warn you now, my game will be "unplayable" going forward because I'm constantly trying to update the code and make things cleaner and more stream lined. Less code = fewer bugs. As I develop more and more ways to make the code more efficient with fewer opportunities for error, I cannot spend what little development time I have trying to fix saves, which invariable leads to me adding code to fix said saves, and potentially introduces more bugs.
My plan for the time being, continue to make content, refine code, and eventually hit a plateau where everything is clicking nice and smooth and all I'm doing between updates is adding content. But until I'm there, I cannot promise old saves will work. It's just the nature of the beast.
Is this still a problem? If so I'll happily see what I can do to try and fix it, but at the moment it's got me a little perplexed.

First off, you shouldn't have to unren my game (I say shouldn't but haven't tested it). I don't archive my code. Everything should be there and wide open for you to dig through and fuck with.
Second, don't get infuriated. Just throw the old RomanHume into your message and say, "Hey man, how do I console some pregnancy up in these bitches."
And then I'll happily reply, "I've coded all the character information into objects so that in the future, they can easily be exported into another game I make. If you're in the console and want to see a dictionary of character objects, just type characters into the console. That will bring up a list of all the character objects. Or, if you want to see the shortcuts for each character, open up Utilities->cast_creation.rpy and you'll see all the character building code."
Look, Renpy is not a platform I can really secure. So I don't try. I'm very open with my code and I want to give you whatever you need to enjoy my game. So if you need to know console commands, variable locations, whatever. Just let me know. I'm never going to force you to play my game a certain way. If having console open and manually tweaking stuff makes you happy and lets you enjoy the game, more power to you!

#1 it happens on the sequence when you select laid her on her back and fuck, move on, then on the sequence selector hit cum, finish inside. This is where i noticed it being almost 99% replicatable.
#2 Yes, the sound crackling happens at a few spots Nanami's car sequence driving to the club being the most prominent. I dont recall this happening in prior versions.
#3 Also noticed that as described. Defintely happened at the elevator sequence and i noticed that a few times the purple choices didn't even occur to ask about the establishement it just went straight to the start of sex with Lita bypassing the stop at the elevator. All my dialouge prior to that was Red for Lita/Nanami if that helps.
