I live in the Southern United States. Right now my attic is like 120 degrees Fahrenheit. I fucking dare them to go up there looking for anything.

*I forgot to mention, it's full of blown in fiberglass insulation. When we bought this house I made the mistake of going up there once in the summer to run some networking cable. You get in there, immediately start sweating, and then the fiberglass sticks to your wet body and you itch for days. I vowed to never again go in there.

I'm here with you. Lots of blown in insulation in the attic. Old cinder block exterior. Plenty of surrounding trees and a small house leads to electric bills that run usually under one hundred dollars a month. I feel for my friends in much larger homes that have poor insulation as they run five hundred dollars a month! I even keep my thermostat at 72 degrees. The cats hate me, but they can go out on the porch to warm up.

If the snow melts on your roof, you need to add insulation to the rafters to prevent the heat from going past it and heating up the attic space. That way they'll never know. The only way they'll know is if your electric bill and water use skyrocket from the hydroponics setups. Again, get around it by using solar or tapping a well. Even better, just meter the electric usage and use a hydro setup that conserves or circulates the water. Or move to a state where it's legal to grow it like it is here. I could grow it in my yard if I wanted to. I'm in the country, anyways!

I think it would be hilarious if Jane was running some hydro setups and invited him to visit to "netflix and chill" were it actually becomes "smoke a bowl and gorge on doritos". Twist.. you're HER Dorito and she's got a serious case of the munchies...

We don't get snow down here, but I do look at frost on the roof. If there are patches that have melted, you do have heat escaping into the attic. I can see that my neighbor has no insulation. Only the edges of her roof have frost on those days. The rest of the roof is dry.

I played it on android and it worked. Think you had same problem. I think I dragged the screen for tapped the back button. I did get the check mark to appear though.

Adding to what Demonius said:

They're investing time into the technical side so that in the future they can spend it all on content creation instead of the code around it. And while I do realize that neither management nor investors are thrilled when presented with opportunity costs, the expected returns are just to good to pass up on in this case. What I'm getting at is that if it all works out as planned, updates will drop with much increased frequency. And month-long waits will be a thing of the past.

Well, just have to make something people care about. Though keep in mind, there is a huge investment to go along with it, from expensive hardware to make the process go smoothly, to assets we don't know how to make ourselves yet. It can be a rewarding hobby, but it can also be an expensive one as well.
