Yeah one thing is unpleasant about Umemaro3D is their interface for the game. Thank god they "fixed" it on the newest one.
Anywho. You need to hover your mouse near the bottom of the game screen and you can see 3 little icons at bottom right. Both square and rectangle icon are for full screen "fit-in-size" (I tried to circle it), the next one is for exit full-screen.

Online, but I don't think that you'll find it anywhere since they're relatively very old and on top of that, are only japanese. From the 8th volume and forward games are also in english but before, not at all.

I had the same problem. I deleted the readmedata folder and the video showed
Ignore that. It's no longer working for me

As mentioned by Brendon90 in previous post:

Here's a few possible solutions to fix the black screen:
1) Switch to full screen, then exit with the exit button, rename the .exe file, then open the game.

2) Right click the game .exe and click properties.
- In the compatibility tab set it as reduced color mode 8bit (256) color and run as administrator.

3) Erase the ENG in the .exe name and set the compatibility settings to Windows 7.

If for some reason you are using some old system or Wine, you can try installing the latest codecs from K-lite, this solved my problem with video, but introduced new ones with the game, as I was attempting to play it in Linux.

Now its running superb in Windows XP Virtual Machine in VirtualBox, so that is a workarround for Linux and mayby Mac users.

I'm having a different issue with the game. I'm getting a Runtime error 6 Overflow

What I'm noticing most of these games won't run on newer hardware. Vol 12 and up seem to work fine but anything below that breaks.
