If you go through the graphtreon, Ptolemy is ranked 162º in 1300 plus creators, with over 300 patreons. That's his first novel. And it's what you could call a "oevre d'auteur", not really going for the mainstream crowd here. I'm also pissed that Dark Silver is STILL on the top 10, but that's life. Ptolemy made it in the map, and his career looks promising. But wouldn't call this a masterpiece, even respecting other folks' preferences. I would just call it a breakout piece. "Kill 'em All" sounded great, but doesn't really compare to "Master of Puppets " or "And Justice for All". Same here.

Ptolemy is a great dev that improved greatly over time. But in comparison to BB or even other devs he looks like he's strongly into his incest theme and story which limits his audience a lot. Dana is a no go for most as theme is over intensive but dev is respected for being honest with his product. One of the few devs I can really respect in this genre even tho I won't touch this game after a couple of minutes. It looks autentic
Is there a major difference between the compressed and uncompressed versions of the game? Is uncompressed a must have over compressed?
I can't really tell the difference on my laptop. But some people are purists. I don't think that you will notice. Besides it's more about the story than the renders. The story is fantastic.
Play it. If you like it, then donate, because he is making another game called "intimate relations" that is just as good, if not better, than this one. (IMO)
That's funny, i have the opposite stance. Dana comes across as "human", even "normal", while all the other characters seem , well, "weird", bar Mila. Only very recently i understood why, when Ptolemy said that Dana is based on an actual girl he knew, "the one who got away". I believe him, because she looks a "human character " while everyone else, including the MC are , let's say, incoherent, at least for my taste. At least he spared us all the gimmicky way Dark Silver thinks relationships work, I just regret that only Dana got the "full human treatment".

Yes, his writing is pretty natural when it comes to this character and relationship. But in my opinion that's what make it hard to swallow for broader audience. DMD feels like it's gonna end with D not being a biological daughter, DoD is just a fantasy with super powers, SS is cartoonlike and BB has no plot. In comparison to those he takes theme much more serious which is great for fans and a barrier for anybody else. Hope he will stay that way as I'm pretty sick of all these marketing-fueled clones.

All characters in this game are "normal" believe me, they are just different from what people are used to see everyday in their surroundings. If you travel the world and you meet a lot of people you will surely run into people like the characters from this game, maybe you don't have to travel, maybe these people are in your environment, and you are not aware of it. One just need to pay attention about the story while playing this game, and everything will be clear to him. You'll also find out why the characters in this game behave how they behave, everything is well explained. I don't want to spoil anything for someone who has not played the game yet. And finally i think that this is the most realistic story from all games you can across here in this genre.
You kinda struck a nerve there. I tried my best to go through DMD, and had to finally concede defeat around 0.8 , when watching my toenails grow seemed a fascinating proposition, compared to continue playing. The plot is boring, and the "characters" are just really badly written. starting by the MC-Daughter duo. DOD, i took it as a dark comedy, But what do all these games, DMD, DOD, and now Babysitter have in common ? They're teasers. Apparently, blueballing sells, even if you're not telling a good story ( DOD and Babysitter ) or no story at all. I like humour in my Porn Games, my faved games are the ones who don't take themselves too seriously, but if you're going the serious route, gimme a fucking story, i'm 100% with you on this.

In all honesty i think Ptolemy is the best developer around here. Who else brings you updates every two weeks and delivers 100+ renders each update? name me one developer here guys i will wait... I still wonder HOW some developers make more money than him? so unfair this world i swear :FeelsBadMan: he really deserve all praise. When you look at some developers here who earns 20,000 dollars a month and they deliver eighty renders and less than that for a whole month or two months sometimes and they have a whole team of people behind them i mean WTF... and then there he is Ptolemy all alone, guy who do more work in two weeks than all of them together in a month. I'm telling you so fucking unfair this world
When Each render is 2+ Hours of render time. He has a few GTX 1080's and 1080Ti's himself and Maybe a little help on the side

i think it´s the way the story unfolds. The breakup between Dana and douchebag, was done very early. Could have taken a little longer, i give you that. After the breakup Dana said that she was always the good girl, bc she had to and the expectations of daddy put upon her. While Chris had fun enjoying life and experiencing a different kind of sex life, more open and lax than Danas´ Sex Life. After she broke up she opens up to Chris´ way, 3somes and lesbian encounters, until they fuck Jessica and only then she admits to love her brother.
Well, you can argue that she´s not really in love with him, bc she´s just experiencing Sex in another way after she broke out of her shell, living her life until now very conservative.
