I don't know what's happening anymore.

A game starts with a gorgeous female MC and with so much potential. A mystery island that the MC has to explore.
Suddenly, there is no gorgeous female MC and the story is not about her.

Slutcraft made the same mistake. They changed the MC which means they changed the whole game. Didn't make sense.
This one doesn't make sense too.

They're doing 2 parallel stories. One with the MC we know and love - no updates there. And one with a new character who helps build the place where the original story takes place - a prequal. It's like they're making 2 games that you can play in one. But I agree with you, I'm more interested in the original. But I would also play the new one separately.

The MC in the original release was made without an adaptable 3D model so they needed to remake it in order to better create new content. The prequel gameplay is essentially a parallel story that will connect back into to main game in the future. It was released in order to keep production on the game while the new MC model was being finished.

The new model for the MC of the main game is done now, so they're just updating the original content with the new look and replacing the placeholder anime portraits with custom models for the game.

All the stuff that you liked about the original is still going to be there, the game just lets you now choose if you want to play the main story or the prequel story when you first start. Regardless of which one you choose, there is already a mechanic within the game to swap back and forth between the two stories. Players can also choose to entirely skip one of them if they're only interested in one of the stories.

if you have any interest in this game i urge to join. TO BE CLEAR THE GAME IS STILL BEING WORKED ON, The prequel was made by the writer by himself to pass time while the artist was updating and upgrading models, seen a lot of confusion about that. Francesca's story is still in the works as is the prequel too, if you have any more questions please join the discord server as i am also not very active on f95.

I am pretty sure, that the Mega link in the first post of the thread is a bugged one. One where you can't talk to the mayor about what happened at the inn.
The one on page 5 works.

According to their discord, there have been reworks and playtests for higher tier patreons in the last 2 - 3 months but apparently (as in im not sure) nothing for lower tiers or concrete release dates for what they have now.
