You have to keep working for Jakob and do quests for the mayor. After a while Jakob will tell you that you can take a bath after work.

I love the design of the MC and can't wait to see all of the "sticky" situations she finds herself in. For a demo, this is an incredibly good showing and so far has felt like more than I've seen in some other games 2-3 versions in.
