I know is a different demographic/market in general, but Supermassive Games TDPA series (along with their others like Until Dawn) are hugely popular and sure, while no 'romances'...you can get so many characters killed off lol...so not really any different. You as the player...can lose most of the cast of the game.

I just think it would be bloody awesome if you can lose a few of them due to 'bad decisions' or a 'lack of points' or not being on their path etc. 1) would make for a completely kick-ass VN, 2) promote playing different routes and 3) as I said, this thread be godamn hilarious to read over a morning coffee hahaha.

I agree with this completely! Until Dawn and The Quarry are some of my favorite interactive story games (along with Detroit Become Human)! I actually think it would be a nice change of pace from what we usually see here to actually have some real consequences for your actions, maybe pull a Dr. Pink Cake and make it so that you can't save everyone (if you get the reference, I'm sure most here do haha...). And of course, the drama that stirs up from it would be equally as entertaining to follow

I would 100% be all for Dreamland following that route as the story develops and really force you to make some hard decisions, like drowning Alex in the lake and framing Danielle for it just to get them off yours and Lea's back... Yes that was a very random example that won't be happening Jokes aside, like the killer about take Lea + Danielle out at some point that they're together, and you can only save one. Don't give us the cop out Batman vs Mr. Freeze solution where he saves both. Force us to choose like with that one burning house in a certain other somewhat infamous AVN with a certain crazy red head...

I agree about the comment. While I personally always appreciated complete honesty and communication in a relationship, she could've worded her feedback a bit more tactfully.

It is what is... next time he'll just have to channel his inner prime Manuel Ferrara or Jax Slayher, and the MC should be good on this front... not sure what to say about the romantic one. Seems like there's too much craziness, jealousy, backstabbing, lying and asspulls in the story that could spell trouble for him in the future, and I don't think it's possible to choose a "fuck this slasher shit and all these sus hoes" route for the MC's own safety and the player's peace of mind.

When Alice gets it she's going to Get It.

Hopefully, before the dev announces he's forced to abandon the game cuz of reasons. Seems like this is the direction it's headed to at this slow pace.

To be honest, the premise of this story and what we've seen so far make me a bit reluctant to pick favorites yet, an official LI from the current cast is out of the question.

There's too many unknown variables to take into account atm, but personally, I'm waiting on the ex-GF to eventually pop up and throw her share of drama on MC's table too, and honestly speaking, she might be better than any girl in the current female cast, assuming she didn't cheat on the MC or simply cut off all contact with him for her own selfish interests, ofc.

That's debatable. Summer's scene was a dream/fantasy and I'm not a fan of those. I would have prefered it if the MC just cuddled and slept with Summer, as she was rather wasted. But I guess the dev needs her to be alone for dumb plot reasons.
Danielle's scene was a part of some plan cooked up by her and Alex.
The biggest problem for me with the Lea scene was the rebound comment and how the she basically made out like her ex was better in bed.

Like I said before though, after watching/unlocking the scenes, taking Summer home will always be my default.

I had paths for all the LI's, but i lost my saves and need to redo them, currently i only played the summer path (and yeah, not gonna chase after her).
My 2 main paths were for Summer and Alice, i never liked Lea, Danielle was not much better but since she helps Alex she is dead last for me and Mai i never liked either...still i will play their paths, just to see the difference...thought it's not easy to find the motivation to play a Mei path...

Everything from the past episode is skipped and we just get straight into a pier talking with Mei after she created some excuses off-screen and then out of nowhere that random ass BTS wannabe of Lea's ex-boyfriend comes up, kick us in the face and we just pass out like that? Also, what is up with Summer personality turning into the steryoptical blonde bimbo with all the "Oh my gosh", "Like" and "Literally" this update? I don't remember she being like this... And I'm not even gonna mention Mei because I just started the update and don't know if there is something else going on, but her personality completely changed. It's like it's not even the same person, a evil twin or something.

Edit: Just finished it. What the fuck was this? A 30-minute update? Really? Not a single Mei scene, not a single footjob, every lewd scene was meh at best. What a lazy and disappointing update...

Making Summer sound and act like a generic, pixelated caricature of a horny dumb blonde promoted by lil pee-pee incels and jealous/ugly cat ladies can't be anything but a very dumb joke no one's laughing at, not when you got at least one potential killer on the loose in the story and a very mysterious Jacklyn's fate, involving a potential cheating on the MC, sudden disappearance, or worse... death.

I haven't played the new chapter yet (I bought a new pc and deleted my files from the older so... new start) but I remember Lea being a bitch, literally. No wife material.
