I ran into a bug, when you hit the beach house, it just loops over and over you cant progress further. Both selecting Jacobs room and your own leads to the same scene.

the game downloads the trojan so no virus detection is possible, only when executed the malware gets downloaded to your system.
BTW for those who think its a fase positive, it starts the nsis.exe which is the tool to install software in windows with Nullsoft Scriptables. A false positive would never do this.

I don't know if it's possible but I think that GoFile sometimes injects viruses into compressed files because I've already downloaded other games here through GoFile and they had viruses in them, I downloaded this game through Mega and I had no problems

Not sure if this is a gofile thing as I downloaded it from mega and although I cannot confirm it was infected, the moment I opened it a powershell window opened very briefly which made me nervous. I run all my VNs in a VM, so I restored a snapshot straight away to be safe.

I'm working on a fix for the loop, as well as a couple of others. I'll have the patched files posted here shortly.

Here is the SHA-256 checksum for the PC version of Dreams of reality (this is without my soon -to-be patched files):

Check your download (before extraction) these should match, if they do not then a 3rd party has changed the files in some way. To check this, if you have 7zip installed, right click the DreamsofReality zip file, highlight 7Zip and then CRC SHA. select SHA-256 and confirm the codes match.

This is not a 100% guarantee, it is 1 tool to confirm if the files may be safe.

Changelog (so far) for 0.4.9a:

• Variable for ch3_completed has been corrected to the new persistent one.
• Variable for ch2_completed has also been updated to the new persistent one.
• Jacob's room repeating has been corrected, you should only see that scene once.
• The sauna scene is now properly triggered when using the in-game walkthrough.
• The possibility to repeat the bedroom scene with Louise has been corrected.

If any more crop up I'll add them here, I will be making the script files available as a download soon, and then later re-build the entire game to include them.

Apologies for this, there was a virus in a version of the game that was shared in the OP. This is totally unrelated to the developer Cenc and on us.

We are not an official method of distribution, we try to ensure that all files are clean, but due to the complex nature of a game and as we deal with so many games, it's always possible for something to slip though. So, we highly encourage all users to use an antivirus, firewall, and where possible sandbox or VM too.
