Really promising start, cant say you play a game starting in a morgue everyday. The game needs the back button without clicking the gear though, since you can only rollback 1 line at once before having to click the gear again.

Many of the fetishes and kinks that appeared in LTA will not exist in DriftBorne.

Which ones will? As Jamleng said, it's up to the supporters. The writing team will determine, based on Patreon Patron surveys and SubscribeStar Supporter polls what is most likely to be added to the game and what won't.

If a particular thing is not a poll winner, it likely won't be featured as a primary fetish in the game.

The story is planned out. There's flexibility in how it's told, but some things simply just do not fit in the way the planned story evolves, or will be difficult to include - based on the premise players experience in Chapter 1.

I'm not trying to shut anyone's fantasies down, but temper the high expectations.

You simply have to be patient and let the writing and development team build upon the foundation and expand the story outline into a full fledged emotional rollercoaster...

I agree, even the least potentially profitable exposure is still a form of marketing in and of itself.

As long as the developer, game creator, and team have some say in how the marketing is executed, even F95 can be an amazing tool to get the word out, discuss things with fans, and solve problems that crop up on occasion.

The double edged sword comes with the naysayers and relentless critics who have nothing better to do than take massive dumps on every little thing they imagine is even slightly not to their personal tastes or preferences. Every game dev who has a spot on this site understands how challenging it is to pinch their nose and wade through the most belligerent of Karens.

FYI - I am not involved with Driftborne's development. I was involved with LTA, but stepped away after that was completed. I have too many IRL things to deal with, so all I see is this beta like everyone else. I simply support my colleagues and respect them too much to stand idly by when they are attacked.

Who was attacking the game? Were those posts deleted or something? I honestly didn't see much negativity before your post.
In any event, there's always going to be some negativity, you can't control that. It's best to not let it get to you.

This is why i refuse to support optional ntr devs because they cannot be honest with tags they will not add to there games

I will say with the current tag system it's easy to filter out a game that you would actually like if just going off NTR. Reason being if the game has any NTR and gets the tag then you might filter it out but if all NTR is avoidable from the start then your gameplay would have no NTR. I know some game dev's make it an option right in the menu or at the start they ask if you want this type of content or not.

Agreed. Devs should be clear about their goals & tags. I'm not gonna support a project that has or might have content I dislike. And yea... I'm not just talkin shit. Backing a bunch of devs.

I hated the prologue! Homeless girl acting tough, rookie cop acting tough, police chief acting tough. Come on dev you're being way too one note! Give us some diversity in the interpersonal dynamics.

We're literally playing an immortal superman but still have to walk on eggshells around frightened women that want to act like they're in control. This game is literally a choice between having to demonstrate infinite patience and grace when dealing with unreasonable people or get taunted with ''<insert name didn't like that>'' notifications. Maybe they should learn to like a little pushback because they're ill-suited to standing up for themselves.
