The games not dead, but it will never come out in a timely manner. Gumdrop only cares about money at this point. You can't trust a word Gumdrop says, nobody really knows how much progress he's made and how close the update is to releasing. The only thing we know for sure is that so long as gumdrop keeps collecting big checks on patreon every month the constant lies, missed deadlines, delays, and excessive development time will never end.
I don't think Gumdrop is stupid enough to let the game die, he'd just be kissing away hundreds of thousands of dollars. He's just trying to make the most money possible with the least amount of work possible which is why we're at where we are.

He is not part of any team, he is a independent contractor, that charge on a per animation basis. People order graphics from him, he provide. He is not part of GD's team of super villains or whatever. He just a unlucky dude that got mentioned in all this clusterfuck. Being a little unreasonable now are we?

Bravo, for going to the source, that make your pair a bit bigger than most else of the trolls here ;p .. And... no contractor would disclose their business relationship or the orders of a client with a stranger. That's like someone call my office and wanted to do know about dealings with clients out of the blue. If I started disclose such I would end up lose clients.
That is really, really interesting! This sounds more like an "I did" than "I am still doing it". I think fatcat made the animations on time, but gumdrop sits on it to get more money.
As an aside to Joshua Tree: If you remember I posted many pages back, that it does not matter if Fatcat exists or not, just if he is doing animations for gumdrop! Btw, in your business confidential stuff might be important, but when it comes to artists and so, only basic confidentialy is used. See all the famous and partly famous artists for hire. Their homepages are full of examples, normally with a rough outline for whom it was done if it is for a firm. Only private persons get better privacy.

Uh, he got examples of stuff he done all over? I'm quite sure if you do contact him, he could give you samples of his work. Or you could just download packs of it from svscomics,, watch anims on pornhub or whatever tickle your fancy. Even graphic artists wouldn't talk about "work in progress" that isn't released yet if they under contract of someone else.

There are several threads, partly even more vitriolic than this one, but you never see "the great defender Joshua Tree" over there defending these devs! Devs, who are mostly vastly more industrious than gumdrop ever was.
You are much too invested in this thread to be believable as a "simple bystander, defending a poor conman, eh, developer".
