Look, I really think gumdrop is a clown for the shit he pulls and would never let even a single dollar in the vicinity of him but the daughter he created is really amazing. Idk why but I just really like her and she looks amazing. She doesn't have these overly big tits but isn't a cardboard. Also his characters don't have this strange skin, which many developers use that make her seem strange. Her face is beautiful, natural and doesn't look like it had 4 car crashes and 6 surgeries behind it. She is trapped in the wrong game, can't even believe gumdrop made her, most likely paid somebody to make her. Probably paid 5 months too late, if at all.

Speaking of which; Fatcat still isn't done with the animations, and I still don't know when Part X is releasing. Merry Christmas! This scam still ongoing. As I have repeatedly predicted, there is no game here and there has been no game for almost 2 years now. This is a scheme to exploit naive people on patron (the Nigerian prince scam equivalent of patreon). I expect many similar schemes like these to surface in the coming years, as patron grows and people like these get away with it. Then maybe people here will realize how shamelessly this guy is scamming: he is not just "slow" or "milking", he isn't doing any work to begin with. And after all this time, it's clear he is not planning to do any in the future either.

A Christmas update? You're being way too optimistic if you think he'll actually do that again. I think it's just gonna be more fucking pin ups. The attitude Gumdrop has taking lately is one of "you're gonna eat shit, and like it". He puts forth the most minimal amount of effort in, and if you have a problem with it?

I was a long time ago, cancelled after 4 months with no update. I'd doubt you would find many willing to admit they are still subscribed. And I still believe many that are subscribed have just forgotten to cancel and don't notice $15 a month.
This is the game that brought me into the porn game world and this forum. I remember getting mad (but never vocal) about forum members ragging on gumdrop for being a few days, or weeks late on an update. In hindsight every ill word spoken of gumdrop was warranted. So glad I never gave a dime to this lying douche.

One thing we can all confirm is that Gumdrop has definitely been naughty & should be happy even if the only thing he receives this year is coal.
Hell if i was him i would cherish the coal & be glad the Futurama Robot Santa doesn't pay him a visit.

On the contrary, I believe we have an obligation to keep this thread going. I believe we need to publicise loud and long how much of a fraud Gumdrop is. We need to make as many potential future patrons aware of his scam. Hopefully more people see this thread and become aware of how this game is ripping people off.
Gumdrop is giving hard working devs a bad name. Many of them deserve better than the reputation Gumdrop gives. How many patrons have stopped supporting other devs altogether after being burned by Gumdrop?

That doesn't make sense. Why should someone stop support a "hard working creator" that does provide results, because getting burned by GD that failed to deliver several times over? If you look at the gaming industry as whole, just because you have awful companies like EA, Activision etc, doesn't mean everyone in the business is terrible.
Also if people doesn't heed the warning posted in the OP by the mods, that would be on them. The only warning people really need is there. Everything else is more or less just word diarrhea..

Makes perfect sense to me. If some people get food poisoning from a Japanese restaurant, they might be less likely to try Japanese food in the future. That means other Japanese restaurants will miss out on business due to one bad shitty restaurant.

I'm indifferent to this thread being closed or not. But a wild guess. I think the mods are happy to keep it open so all the diarrhea end up in one place. Closing a thread doesn't make people stop posting. You would just get more threads pop up.
Your food example is kinda bad, because it would apply to anything. Eat at McDonald's and get bad food.. hence all McDonald places serve bad food? That why you have such things as Yelp, food reviews and whatever. Just as this game have reviews here as well.

I just think it's pretty telling when someone like NLT media, who produces animations, story content, and gameplay in a consistent 2-week release period, vs someone like Gumdrop who's had 2 years to produce a single story chapter with no animations, no gameplay to speak of (it's a VN for christ's sake), and still claims to need the best PCs in the world for rendering and a large enough team for development, it's just so baffling to me.
