Dude, it's December 23rd. Fatcat is going to join the army on the 6th of January. That means 2 weeks, with Xmas vacations and new year's eve in between. Based on what that filthy scammer GD said, FatCat has not even begun working on the animations for this game. And based on what FatCat said on his twitter, he has worked on many animations of late, and he will continue posting the ones he has already finished also after January 6th. He didn't say he will work on new ones though.
So, expect a new, fat, greasy, absurd excuse from the mofo leech for not releasing the game in January (or February, or even March, for what matters). And he will definitely lay the blame on FatCat, who (however) didn't mention the animations for DF in his twitter account, NOT EVEN ONCE. Are we even sure they have an agreement? What if FatCat really is someone else and not Kyle (you can't prove he ISN'T KYLE either, Joshua. He may be Kyle's alter ego. A separate active twitter account doesn't prove the guy's identity for your information. He could be indeed Kyle, working on animations for money, as long as he has a lot of time in his hands and gets 9k a month for doing exactly NOTHING with Dual Family). Anyway, what if FatCat exists and he simply doesn't know shit about all of this? Or if he knows, what if, given his change of vocations, he's just getting money from GD to take the blame and actually not working on anything?

Also, in regard of Fatcat not mention animations/work for DF on his twitter. When you do work by commissions. You enter a "employee" relationship. Whatever you make for the one that hire you to perform that work. Is up to your employer to release. Fatcat could have made a tons of graphics for DF for all we know, but that would be for GD to release, not Fatcat. An artist get credited for his/her work when released, but not really in a position to release any of that by themselves prior. Anyone that does contract work should know how this work, regardless of bad reputation your employer have. People should be more critical when it come to take on commissions/contracts though, but sometimes money talks, and bills need to be paid.

It's pretty obvious gumdrop's next excuse is going to be that fatcat didn't finish the animations before he left and he'll have to wait for 6-12 months until he's back from the military lol. I don't know how people believe his lies. According to gumdrop these supposed animations have been in development for over a year... it doesn't take over a year to make animations. It's obvious to anyone with half a brain cell this whole animation scenario is a lie and fatcat is just a scapegoat to keep it going. If gumdrop were actually commissioning animations they'd be done by now, and if they weren't it wouldn't be because the animator is incompetent and keeps missing deadlines, it'd be because the developer is incompetent and doesn't get a different animator. Any dev trying to make a game with animations would just switch to a different animator rather than wait over 12 months lol, but obviously gumdrop doesn't do that because there are no animations in the first place.

You'd think his supporters would wake up to that fact by now, like who waits over a year for an animator to make you animations rather than just getting a new one to make them? How do they believe gumdrop when he says "fatcat missed the deadline again, gotta keep waiting" but don't say "gumdrop hundreds if not thousands of animations have been produced in the year+ you've been waiting for fatcat, just get a different animator to make them". How do they find all that acceptable and keep giving him money? You have to be pretty dumb to think gumdrop is telling the truth in the first place, but you have to be really, really, really dumb to find that all acceptable and let it continue even if it was true. His supporters truly are a special case of stupid, it's amazing people like them actually exist. In a way I'm kinda glad gumdrop is scamming them, people like them deserve it.

And as for why fatcat let's gumdrop use him as a scapegoat it's probably because gumdrop is paying him, fatcat only gets 328 dollars a month on patreon anyway so I'm sure gumdrop just pays him hush money to keep quiet while he smears his name. And besides, no exposure is bad exposure so free money and exposure to be used as a scapegoat just so some delusional idiots can say "dang fatcat" on the discord for some random porn game while they wait well over a year (and soon to be another 6-12 months) for animations that will never come is not a bad deal for him I guess.

Out of curiosity I went to gumdrops site, 908 people still paying him monthly more than $8900. Wow, really? Either gumdrop is the best salesman of all time or this is reminiscent of rotton tomatoes fudging of numbers on some, less than stellar movies.
At the time I really liked Duel Family, but now I don't think it holds up to others in graphics like; JOHN, Timestamp, Milf City, Broken Dreams, etc.. or IMHO was some of the best storing telling with Acting Lessons. I know, I know, we all have our favorites but it truly is strange that he's still bringing in that kind of coin.
Oh well .

Uh, up until recent, Fatcat been taking on commissions. I would guess a fair bulk of his income been coming from such, not his actual patreon. If he can keep his regular patreon stuff flowing through the army service, it would still be nice income, not like it pay much at all.
