Hi all. :)
Thank you for your continued support!

I hope you've enjoyed the holidays!
I've had a lot of fun making the seasonal images, and I'm happy you guys seemed to enjoy them as well. :)

I'll be honest, development this past week was somewhat slower than usual.
The festivities definitely got in the way a bit, but progress was still made.

Since the last recap, Charlee's scene was fully finished, and production has started on the "customer events" for the new workplace.
I have decided to expand these customer events to the top 3 picks in the last T2 poll, so the girls that will make an appearance will be June, Angie and Ruca.

A to add in v0.1.6 is now live!

Work done this week:

  • ~45 new images + the New Year picture.
  • Picked the girls' outfits for the new customer events.
  • Finished writing the scenes for the customer events.
  • Started producing the renders for customer events.
Update Status: 90% done!

The update is now really close to release!

I just have to finish producing the last few scenes for the customer events, write the dialogues and put the update together. :)

Soon I'll be making a post to announce the date the beta-test will start, as well as how to take part and what it will involve.
The beta-test will start a few days prior to early-access. Tier3+ patrons will be able to join without any requirements should they want to.

Anyway, let's take a look at what the new workplace mini-game will be like.
(This is the mini-game to earn money, not the customer events)

My objective was to make a simple, easy mini-game to earn money, which doesn't take much of the player's time or effort.
Players will also be able to skip the mini-game should they want.

Firstly, MC will have to clock-in at the clothing store.
He will be able to do so at the new location, after the intro scene has been viewed.
Once clocked-in, MC will have the option to start a customer event (if any of the girls are present) or start the mini-game.

The mini-game will have MC checking-out customers (not in the lewd way :p).
Players will have to:

  • Click one of the items the customer wants to purchase (this reveal the tag).
  • Drag the bar-code reader over the tag (this will display that item's price on screen).
  • Repeat the steps above for all the items on the counter (all of the items' prices will then be shown).
  • After scanning all the tags, MC will have to tell the customer the total amount to pay. To do so, players will have to add up of the items prices and input the amount inside a text-box.
There will be three possible outcomes, depending if MC has gotten the price right or not.

  • If the player got the price right, they will gain "performance points".
  • If the player overcharged the customer, MC will get to pocket the difference between the actual price and the amount charged (unless outrageously higher, at which point the customer will refuse to pay).
This will decrease MC's "performance points".
  • If the player undercharged the customer, MC will lose some "performance points".
In the future, undercharging customers might result in lewd rewards.
Performance points will be what drives the store's storyline, and there will be scenes (involving the store's characters) for both good and bad performance.

At the end of his shift MC will be paid some money for each customer they serviced.
Skipping the mini-game will net MC a fixed amount of performance points and money.

Anyway, the wait for the new update is almost over! :D
Just a little longer...

That's all for this week's recap.

Thank you, have a great week! <3

What I like most about the minigame is that apparently I can safely ignore it (which is actually what I will do).

when the minigame needs a tutorial to explain how it works, definitely the skip button is your friend...

in fact, mini-games are cool, it's just that not every developer knows how to do it at a good level and that it would be moderately difficult and not annoying.

yeah i know, summertime saga has some cool minigames tho, but some other games makes you play a hard as fk, clash royale-esque fast paced type games or mortal kombat fatality input-like that are really annoying...

Does anyone knows what DAZ model is used for June? I wanna make myself something like her, while I wait for the release.
