Sadly the game balance is still wildly askew... Why do our servants start off at level 35? Why is my first invader level 80-100? Why do the enemies get to make 10 separate attacks and I can only do 1, maybe 2 or 3 at best? And so on, and so forth. The list of game balance issues is enormous and only seems to get worse the longer you play.

The most frustrating aspect for me is that even if you train up your servants to make them stronger or tougher, the game just ups the ante again with the next invader they send. You got your servant to level 80 and increased her attack to where she can 2-shot the invaders you've been getting? Cool, well we're gonna send you all level 150 invaders now that will shut that shit right down. You thought you were making progress? Nah, sit down kid.

This formula really sucks the fun out of the game for me. I don't want it to be like EZ-baby-mode or anything, I like a good challenge but this just feels unnecessarily punishing after a while. The gameplay loop wants to be fun, but right now it just plain isn't... in my opinion.

Man, I just want another legit Dungeon Keeper game. I'm not even here for the porn in this one, I keep coming back to this hoping it'll fill that niche that has been missing in the gaming sphere for like 20-30 years now.

I'm starting to learn that this ain't it. I'll check back in another 3 or 4 updates I guess... :\

EDIT: fixed some numbers

Glad to hear! Here's a quick summary of what my plans are regarding these features:

[extracted from the Patreon Alpha 0.15 changelog]
That all sounds great. I know this might be a big ask, but it would be incredible if you could see the birth similar to games like Monster Black Market, MudBlood, and Goblin Lord Wants Me to Become a Virgin Wizard by Managing the Brothe! I would imagine you would need to dedicate a room to doing that like a nursery room or something.

I don't see how someone can play this game. The invaders are so strong that they're killing my units during the tutorial which bugs it out, seems completely unbalanced at all. If i don't do the tutorial, i'm still getting invaded by people who do 50+ damage per turn to my minions.

I do remember giving the game an honest try in 0.13 and having to restart on a few occasions because the base building process is pretty unforgiving. It would be a nice QOL change at least in early access to be able to demolish rooms and change room types without losing money (just refund and move any servants to the throne room).

The nice part is that save files are very readable and I've been tweaking them, if you want I can share mine with you?

I really don't understand how stats work in this game, is energy and mind suppose to be locked at 10? Does more health equal more defense? and what effects capture success? I thought it went off pokemon rules but then I've had invaders escape at zero health. And how do you even get more shackle items? I could only get them from random events.

I still liked it, but it does have some issues. Don't want to get to critical here though since its an early build. One thing I'll say though is the slider that makes your characters rotate automatically is terrible. Why can't I just rotate them myself? If one of the keys actually does do this I apologize, but otherwise I really don't understand the devs thought process here.

Like the game, but there are way too many bugs (makes sense since this is in Alpha ... not sure why it's not Beta though, since it's being released to the public at least for testing). I didn't get many of the combat bugs yet, but here are mine:

1.) Characters' bodies are badly clipping, and I'm getting crazy Skyrim-esque movements of clothing and/or body.
2.) Capturing non-invaders (where they have a 50% - 50% chance of joining or attacking) causes a softlock when the invader chooses to attack. They'll stay frozen in place at the entrance; while this does prevent new enemy invaders, I as the DM can't interact with anything.
3.) Asking a prisoner to "serve" once they're willing to (e.g. worship level) softlocks the game. Basically, they leave the Jail cell, but it causes a constant spawning of "Test" artifacts and the inability to interact with anything on the map. Once I as DM click on any of the characters, the game then softlocks (so I essentially can't free any prisoners for now). See attached image.

I wish there were a way to compare stats of equipment, RPG style. It's sorta annoying to constantly equip characters with things to see the stat/effect changes of each on the character, or what the equipment's base stats are compared to others.

Also, it's not really a bug, but VA is pretty ... monotonous? I appreciate the audio/voiceovers, but there's not much change to pitch, frequency, variability, emotion, etc. Just sorta sounds like someone's reading off a script. If that's the case, AI might be cheaper/better for voicing lines. Not too big of a deal, but just wanted to offer feedback.

Anyway, I got tired of reloading saves but I enjoyed the game regardless. Hope you can fix these bugs, keepherdev . Looking forward to breeding/pregnancy in the next one.

the optics is quite ok, but wasnt there more tools in a previous version is the first thing
the second the serverall bugs
1 if u battle and klick the cards to fast the game gets stuck.
2 if u send all our servants to survace do something and u safe u get stuck after the next choice u click then any option there not there then anymore.
3 in interaction scene theres a bug what gets u stuck too, but i wasnt able to figure out what exactly it triggers

so atm the puplic release is unplayable and dosnt get the player a good feeling, u might tell that u got 15 years of expirience in
makeing games but, u should maybe overthink ur strategies in what u develop and on what u focus if u want to make a good game that attrakts players g

It's crazy how much people are complaining about this game, it's a really good game, especially for only being in Alpha... Yes, it has bugs, but again, IT'S IN ALPHA... This isn't even in Beta and people are complaining like it's a final release full of bugs...

The game is great, I'm enjoying it and I appreciate the dev's efforts. It IS a little buggy, for instance, the room upgrade system seems to be confused as to what level upgrade I am on, I will be receiving 300 Gold from a Gold Mine but the upgrade button will tell me that the NEXT level is 300 gold, so it seems to be tracking one level behind what is actually unlocked.

Also, a couple of times during combat, the UI will get stuck when shifting to my character's turn and there will be no cards to select, no access to inventory items, no way to end the turn, there is literally nothing to advance the gameplay and I eventually have to reload the game to my last save in order to continue playing...

These are the only bugs I have encountered so far and they are more-or-less game-breaking bugs as they constantly force me to reload and lose any progress since my last save...

Still, a good game that I am enjoying playing, thank you again!

I too think this game could be something worth playing, but it is extremely buggy at the moment. Here's a couple that need squashed.
1) Moving your throne room to another room while a prisoner is inside, makes the prisoner disappear completely.
2) Exploitation bug - Some large prismatic crystal item can be deconstructed for 15 crystals, but doesn't disappear on the first deconstrunction(it does on the second). But by then you have 30 crystals and you can build another prismatic crystal for 20. Thus you can endless create these crystals which you can then assemble smaller crystals that give 5 stat levels in an infinite amount of times.

Man, this is such a good game. It will be a while until the next update but I will say this, I do hope in the near future there is a way to train these slaves of yours. I have no idea how to make someone stronger outside of jewelry. Like, once you gain enough research points, they are just...useless...

Why not use research points to make one stronger? Have a gym or a stripclub? Alter one's personality.

Hey everyone!

I know it can be a bit frustrating having to deal with bugs or balancing issues. I just want to emphasize that most problems are due to the constantly changing, early nature of the game, where the focus is mainly on expanding features. When there are so many moving parts, even small additions can break things way out of my radar.

I'm taking note of the issues and tackling those that really detract from the experience (some of the issues reported above have already been fixed for Alpha 0.15). Things will be a lot more polished in the long run as mechanics are better stabilished, balanced, tested and "set in stone".

Thanks for all the feedback!

Appreciate it. Hope you don't see these as "complaints" as one poster commented, but as helpful feedback that you can use to improve your game. Speaking for myself, I completely understand that by constantly altering aspects and elements of the game, some things are just bound to break. Thanks for your hard work. Aside from bugs and minor suggestions, I'm a fan of this game and look forward to the next update.

Well, visually speaking the improvement was amazing, a jump comparable to Enlit3d games to name other hentai 3D games out there like yours. The bugs are there, but it's obviously little code things, as most of the times everything resolve with just a restart or re load of a save. I think you progress is good and signifant Lewd Maze, another example, was going nowhere for years to compare to something remotely similar to your work.

About the balance, well yeah, it's kinda rare...? to say at least I mean, some people complain that invaders are too strong because they ignore they sometimes have items that replenish their energy or cause damage, but the same applies to our minions which can literally use items an unlimited amount of times, so you can literally spam energy drink to defeat every enemy without even a chance for them to fight back. So I would recommend you focus on that when you finish the art and visuals.

Low level isn't a problem at first, just send your initial girls to take a walk outside the dungeon.

Me, spamming Lustful Resolve, stunlocks and lewd moves with my gobbo lustspell witch until I draw the Capture card and reliably capture invaders that sometimes have double my gobbo lustspell witch's level:

LeonardoDicaprioLaughing.jpg

Seriously tho, the violet wand and the paddle are completely, utterly BROKEN and I shudder to think of the day invaders will learn this, and stunlock and trash my gals. :p

Daybreak is also broken, my orc girl beats opponents 50 levels beyond. Vesperfang or any weapon with "Jab" is also good to spam enemies, sometimes you'll get 2-3 free jabs in one turn.
Weapons with "Onslaught" also turn the tide most of the time. Combat only seems unfair at first, i only agree for staffs which suck (for now).
Keep a 100+ level slave with "Lucky" roaming the base and you will get good equips.

It's hard to get more broken than "haha, I can take 5 turns in a row while you take 0 turn!". Then again, I love playing mostly pacifist (AKA "no kill"), and Lust Weapons are shockingly (#BaDumTiss) good at tormenting and weakening enemies without killing them. I have taken 5 turns in a row without enemies acting by inflicting stun after stun, getting the invader to cum twice, before they could even act, and then they barely could inflict scratches on me since I had several stacks of Guard up and active. This was both truly disgusting and quite trollish and the day Invaders can use capture abilities to snatch up your Servants is the day I will get a taste of my medicine. :p

That's because the game is unplayable, not because of bugs but because it's unbalanced to a extent where people can't even pass tutorial because the person it sends in is too strong. From what i've seen though the game does appear to be good and i totally believe these stuff will be fixed up sooner or later, these unique games being developed are fun to see.

The nice part is that save files are very readable and I've been tweaking them, if you want I can share mine with you?
That would be nice if you don't mind.
