Progress update:
Base content stuff (seemingly) finished up.
So I can verify that endgame saves can be upgraded and reach EX content without any problems, and I would ASSUME that any saves work too.
I've now moved onto the EX stuff.
Basically, I have a list of things that I want to do before posting.
I will keep quietly working through the list until it's done, and then post.
If it's been a bit I'll post an update and if I decide to call it early I'll post what I have.

Yeah so there is actually a whole lategame golem variant enemy that Kagura Games seems to have cut out for some reason or other. This thing drops an item that is also named Golem Core (in english ver anyway) but which is a different item from the other one. The enemy that drops this core is gone so you can't get it.
And yeah the quest is for the unobtainable of the two cores.
While I'm here, update on the merged project:
Basically, I'm doing various things as I play through the game until I clear off my main todo list. There were some issues I found once moving onto EX but I've since fixed those. Depending on how long my motivation lasts I might end up doing a good bit more than I planned but we will see.

Not really much of a change in situation since my last post.
Are all NTR scenes in this game nothing but dreams?
Not asking because I want to avoid NTR but because I enjoy it, and it only happening in non canon dreams is kind of a boner killer

Progress update: Not dead yet.
Yeah, the NTR and darker scenes are all dreams. The main story is basically the MC is the super harem king and everyone loves him. (Unless you are one of those ULTRA purists that thinks that the girls not being 100% pure virgins that have only ever had sex with you counts as NTR).
EX is similar except with a much stronger focus on masochist male / you getting dominated scenes (at least so far near the start).

With other things going on I haven't worked on this much lately.
I'll find the time to finish up a few things and post what I have before December.
The main points are that all of the kagura content is merged, the technical issues are all solved as far as I can see, and the executable strings are translated. So, somebody else wanting to pick up where I left off won't have to do as much dirty work. I've also wrote some docs for how the game's files work which should help with people trying to translate events and stuff.
And then there's a bunch of random stuff I've done, and a few random things I want to finish if I have time. We'll see.
Just posting this to make a deadline for myself so I'll actually do it and not keep putting it off...
