I think the bigger problem is that he just abruptly gives up on his games. In Lancaster we have this underlying mystery cult thing happening that we get no satisfying conclusion to. It's just game over here are some thrown together endings. Same happened in Pinefalls only difference is he got tired of it way sooner than he did Lancaster. In this one it feels like his story is getting away from him and his writing has gotten worse.

Yeah I get that feeling in this tho I havent played pinefalls. In this game it seems like he doesnt outline his story very well and just lacks the commitment to actually follow through with a story. In this game he just fails to deliver 2 or the 3 most important point in a story for me. He gave me a good intro and hooked me. His middle point was very disappointing and failed to get that hook deeper and keep me interested. If his ending keeps on the path its on right now itll probably turn me off his games as a whole since if his endings are just gonna drop or completely change the plot altogether then whats the point in wasting my time on games like that.

Sorry for the spoiler, as you replied to me i thought you played ep.12 already.

I mean, it isn't that bad of a ending, it just throws all out and explains nothing, it's probably there just as a fan service to whoever liked that character until the "real" ending, even tho Lizzie's ending is a bit of a slap in the face, but for me is fine as i never really liked her character.

Funny, in my last reply I said about having previously read, in his other games, that this dev has a bit of notoriety for not producing good endings.
Looking at the next couple of pages there are a lot more voices saying it's a theme/trend with this dev.

Oh well, hopefully he can get it right this time, despite the recent comments. Be a real shame to see a good story fail to poor ending(s).

Played part one of PF and hated the ending. Debating if I wanna start part two or not.

Well, we've had 2 endings so far.
One was fitting & went with the story reasonably well, although Julia wanting to kill her was thrown on us all of a sudden with no real prior indication she wanted to do that, I can accept that as part of the story.
Not played this ep yet, but the last couple of pages are all saying that the ending in this episode is not done well, at all.
So 50% success with side endings, so far, ignoring both previous games mentioned.
As long as the main story ending is decent and resolved well, I reckon I can put up with lazy endings for 1/2 the side stories....

Anyone else having a problem with the "save fix" on the OP not working?
I followed the directions but I'm still just getting that still intro screen.
Why did it work for the last 2 or 4 updates but not this one?

I updated the save fix for Ep 12 about an hour before your post and am able to successfully load saves from Ep 8-11 with it.

Maybe double check if you're using the current version? Otherwise it's hard to say, unless you started using mods or something (fix doesn't work with mod saves).

Ok how isee this, i think the Dev already is being bored from his own game and rush the final, i dont understand how this can be hapen but if remember Pine Falls there we have another ending rush, so i think in next episode wil have the pleasure to se another ending and so to the next, i realy sorry but Dev have a great begining but after some time he lost the passion. That is all think right now. Too bad for such a beautiful character with so much diversity of temperament.

Hey guys, well I do the walkthrough for this game, and I decided to make it the game I do my first MOD for! Enjoy! Thanks to Qleaf and OscarSix for showing me the ropes!

Zoey's Walkthrough/Improvements Mod. Made all random chance scene's 100%, added scenes you could only get on one path or another. Highlighted important choices, showed points for choices that gained them. Basically this is a Harem mod, so if you want to play the game straight, use my PDF walkthrough.

Edit: Updated to Ep. 12

Install: Extract to "game" folder, overwrite when prompted. Do ONLY THESE STEPS, nothing else is required. Some people are deleting the script.rypc file.

The only other game of his Ive played is the Lancaster one but from what i remember of it the girl you date through out it had a pretty ok ending the others were pretty lack luster tho.

My Girlfriends Amnesia (RPGM) i think it had a renpy remake- ending sucked
Pine Falls (Renpy) ending also sucked one of them had the MC just disappear into the fog and thats it
Stranded with benefits (RPGM)- didn't play it since i don't really like rpgm platform
Lancaster Boarding House- Renpy (stopped playing halfway because i knew the ending sucked

So disappointing as I was interested in Lizzie. She's written off and then shows up for a brief moment disappears again and then it's over. Well at least I can end here because the manor is just making no sense anymore. Hope people who are after others get a good ending

Well that's annoying.

Doubt the dev knows how to fix it, haven't seen anything from him about it. I have no idea what precisely he did to break saves between 8-9, just how to work around it (though apparently not for everyone/everytime).

If you have saves from back in Ep 7 (before he broke things) you should be able to load those, but of course that still requires you to fast skip through half the game again...
