i played the first week a long time ago and really enjoyed it, is it worth playing through the other days even though this is abandoned?

If you enjoyed week 1 you will most likely enjoy the rest. Consider if you will be okay with spending more time on something that will never be finished and if you're okay with that go for it.

Someone should take this project and work on it.
pretty impossible. The illusion game for scene generation is becoming obsolete. It also needs a lots of mods and the original girls config.

They only can port the story and regenerate the scenes with another system.
Even if the game is abandoned a move like this is a dick move, unless blueballer gives his blessings for the project

I disagree. Bluecat used the game as a milking project to get as much money as he could, and somehow he still gets more every day. And so someone who actually has any decency that won't do that deciding to take on development of the game, seeing as Bluecat will never make another update ever again anyway, isn't a dick move at all.

Also there's no questioning if it's abandoned. It's been abandoned for over two years.

And to be real, the character models were below average even when it came out. Recreating better models and characters honestly wouldn't be that difficult for someone who knows what they're doing. Same goes for settings, scenes and animations. They were all low quality. The game could be remade by an amateur and look better than this game does.

And so I think that someone taking it on would do a fine job at it. Seeing as someone made the entire merge within like a week, I think they proved that there's capable people who can do it.

Everything you say is true, the models, the places, the scenes, everything in general was quite basic, what really hooked people on this was "Dark Mind" and that is an absolute truth.

Someone who has knowledge in modeling, design and the engine could come here, take all the content and make a revival of Ecchi Sensei with better models, scenarios and animations, accompanied by a better story, but they would be forced to maintain "Dark Mind ", which was the real hook.

Even if we put ourselves in the hypothetical case that someone takes on the project only using the base and making all the resources from scratch, could BlueCat really say something? He abandoned the game and maintained absolute silence. He is lucky that they are not harassing him with legal issues for scams.

In addition, there are precedents with Pokémon Fangames, also with Snoot Game.

Bluecat before moving to Japan: Moving to Japan will give me inspiration and I'll be able to work on and expand the project even more.
Bluecat after moving to Japan: Haha sike, I'm never working on it again.
Exactly. It was a great scam. Got the money to move to Japan to never touch it again lol.

lol so this finally got abandoned? Haven't checked up on it in over a year but I knew it was only a matter of time after bluecat said that once completed the game would span something like 2 years even though it took him months just to put out 1 week. Not to mention how overstuffed with characters it becomes after like day 5.

Just go play The Headmaster guys, it's a fairly similar concept done better in every way.

If only that were true lol, it has some cool ideas and such but I didn't think it really executed a lot of them that well so I ended up dropping that one. A mixture between these two would be interesting though.

To be fair, I do think that the majority of the fans of this game were here specifically for the Dark Mind patch content. That was the primary draw of the game, and obviously the way the game was "intended" to be played.

That's not to say it had to be for everyone, but it really cannot be denied that this game got the following it did explicitly because of the multiple niches it catered to at a time that - at least when it was initially being made - those niches were not all being filled in a way that satisfied many people. This game did, until Blue stopped working on it, and then other games came and filled in the gaps.

And oddly enough, now some of those niches are becoming more barren or are not being given satisfying results again in the last year or so, bringing us closer to a situation like we were when Ecchi Sensei first started releasing.

you can think whatever you want, but just because you think it doesn't mean it's the truth

why it can't be denied? on what do you base this ?
seems to me like you think you're talking because of some study made or a piece of tangible proof but so far all I've read from people claiming this game is X or Y or whatever is.... their own opinions and nothing much .. and in a few cases a few opinions that agreed with each other...
