"He says he is, I will just take his word for it" Wow... after all that time with no progress and lots of excuses and lies, believing it blind...Nothing that I saw. Most likely it was a DM between the two. I did see this posted a few days ago. Just look at how delusional his former patrons are.

Not to mention the games that never made it here. What did you expect?
If i look at the stats in the games section by tag
Abandoned 5852
Completed 10186
That's 36% that never gets completed. That's.a.lot.
And I bet ya that most abandoned games are the ones that have longer development times. The longer someone works on a game the more likely it gets abandoned.
We should support devs that actually complete their games "properly". I typically donot support first time projects unless they have sizable content. They are almost always abandoned. So many projects with fantastic 1st chapters only to get abandoned laterWhat did you expect?

I don't agree to be honest. If people are so fucking retarded that they give this guy money for literally nothing, why would you stop that? Good for him, nobody is forcing them to pay. Stupid people should not be coddled. The only way to make BlueCat do anything would be to report their patreon TBH since you could argue he breaks their ToS. His free money train would dry up lol.
On a more realistic note, devs that that milk their audience without updates should have their accounts removed from the gamedev tag and/or deleted in more extreme circumstances of being a bad actor, which IMO, purposeful scamming like BlueCat is doing, definitely falls under it.
This site is a big community that provides free advertisement for games and gets an audience they otherwise wouldn't so devs should be thankful for it and if they step out of line to an unjustifiable degree then they should lose that benefit. I guess you could argue against that since the site is based off piracy but I think there's still a line for devs that engage here shouldn't cross IMO.
And grifters shouldn't be enabled.I don't agree to be honest. If people are so fucking retarded that they give this guy money for literally nothing, why would you stop that? Good for him, nobody is forcing them to pay. Stupid people should not be coddled.
It's not illegal, so who gives a shit? These morons deserve their fate. And grifters shouldn't be enabled.
