I completely agree with this. The whole random fairy/fuyu/neko thing was really jarring and honestly made me want to stop playing. It just really didn't fit with the flow of the game and I hope if stuff like that appears in future releases there's an option to skip it. The fairy/neko scene was especially annoying. Other than that it's a really fun game.I'm becoming a bit unsure about this game after the latest update. Not that it's becoming a bad game, but supernatural stuff is not really my thing and I'm concerned that there will be more and more of these random fairy/fuyu/neko stuff. I felt like the game already has a lot of characters that it could just use them with a nice storyline rather than having to have a gimmicky supernatural things.
That's the only negative critic I actually agree on so far. I love every bit about the game so far (even the 'overdramatic' fighting scene with fuyu - interesting to see where that goes) except this whole sequence. I get the idea behind it and on it's own it is a funny way to present new features. I could even understand if BlueCat and his dev simply wanted to have characters in the game. I understand all that completely BUT doing it like that in the middle of the "play-flow" really did not fit and was kinda annoying. Especially emphasizing the fact that you are playing the game kind of killed the mood for me at that point. I think something like that would be better placed right before the start of a chapter or at the end, alongside the preview for example (though introducing new features probably at the beginning^^). But whereever to put it, explicityl stating this is all a game/dreamworld/whatever WHILE playing, bitchslapping you back to reality so to speak, was ... well I'm not a fan of that.I completely agree with this. The whole random fairy/fuyu/neko thing was really jarring ...
So do I understand you correctly that you either are perfect at something right away and/or take a class before doing something new? Really? Ever heard of "Try and Error" or "Learning by doing"?I wish there were a class these devs could take , some know how to make perfect updates and others just make you restart endlessly because they can't figure how to make a save work in their own damn game.
I did the save transfer and had no problems but you could maybe make it even easier by letting us name our saves (babysitter and wicked choices have this kind of option so its possible), so we know which one we wanna transfer (i had like 50 and i didnt know which one was what route). Maybe, as someone else already mentioned, you could break the fourth wall and tell us exactly when to save, in case someone forgets or doesnt know about it. And you could also provide a couple saves with instructions how to use them for those that lost theirs..
Not a complete waste of time, the dev released detailed instruction on how to transfer, save games. also since people seam to have difficulty with this, they are working on other ways of doing this in the future that will be much simpler. Maybe in future instead of insulting the devs, it would be a good idea to provide constructive criticism with passable ideas or solutions.Complete waste of time, played the first 2 days no problem then start up day 3 and save is not compatible even though I just fucking made it. 7 gb of data for a few sex scenes mountains of pointless dialogue for the most part and a useless update. I wish there were a class these devs could take , some know how to make perfect updates and others just make you restart endlessly because they can't figure how to make a save work in their own damn game. It sucks too because I was into the various girls story lines and some of the renders were quite nice, but graphically this didn't feel like it was 7gb worthy, they are way better looking games with far less space required.
Do not ask for directions to the principal in d1, meet a girl on the roof and tell her you will help find hr phone. What do I need to do to get the D1+D2 decision event shown in the day 3 tree?
Go to preference click start new game then click continue chapter 2instruction say save after last decision in chapter 2... i do so then load then it says try save in the end of chapter 1 FUCK YOU
It IS a complete waste of time to not only put the time in downloading it, run thru the first 2 days only to get bricked by "detailed instructions which don't work" effectively ending any chance to further progress thru the story. I reinstalled day 3 multiple times thinking maybe that was the issue, redid day 2 thinking maybe I missed the "save" point {HELL some games actually add the line " You should save here, or save is recommended"}, tried both normal and dark mind versions and still save did not work.. Also had IF you had taken the time to really read what I wrote I did not insult the dev 1 bit , I said I liked his novel/game up until I got bricked, I spoke out of frustration of not being able to finish what I started as for the other person getting all 'trial and error" nonsense , I'm all for learning as you go but don't expect financial support if you don't even know how to make a update work in your own damn game. As for solutions they are everywhere on this forum, I've seen other devs use .bat files, others use simple patches which do NOT require a full download each and every little " I can touch her boob scene" is added, also played other games where you simply just override the previous installation...so there ya go 3 just off the top of my head and that's with me being currently hung over. I appreciate every dev/writer that takes the time to to really learn there craft, I do not appreciate having my time wasted. Bottom line game was sent to the recycle bin, I will check back in a few months and see if progress was made. Not a complete waste of time, the dev released detailed instruction on how to transfer, save games. also since people seam to have difficulty with this, they are working on other ways of doing this in the future that will be much simpler. Maybe in future instead of insulting the devs, it would be a good idea to provide constructive criticism with passable ideas or solutions.
